sylofox Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 You ought to be careful with that "manager knows better" argument. You've always struck me as a supportive voice where managers are concerned and Pearson has justly earned a lot of slack. But you'd have to go back a long way before him to find a manager who persuaded me they knew anything much and some have been right duffers. What gets me with this is you say you don't want or fancy a player and it is thrown at you your anti NP. As you do not believe in him not even Ferrgie got every one right. Even if I did not want a player I'd support him in our colours and always support NP. But the lashings from some on here if you disagree is beyond a joke. Even if it is a transfer rumour. Makes you wonder if some would put there hand in a fire is he said so.
sylofox Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 I never said he knows better (although I'm sure he probably does) I said he had earnt the right to do it his way, most of those moaning are the same ones who have done so over the last few years. The ones who always blamed the manger for everything, even without evidence. You would have thought by now they might just wait and see rather than go to the default setting of I'm right and Pearson is wrong again. Yes you have and abused me when I said I did not want Ulloa and no I don't slag him or players. I did not want ulloa as the price brighton want was stupid. So you asked me as a mate had said he was not worth it if I thought I new better and my mate did. And I will say again I'll never slate NP but even Ferrgie got it wrong. If I don't fancy a player I will say so but will always support them while in our colours unless they really are gash.
Father Ted Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Not saying you've lied mate, but I don't have a clue why we'd allow him back into training with his current deal elapsing - if he wasn't going to resign? We may hear more on this either way tomorrow I'd expect. Pre-Season doesn't begin until 7th July.
stu Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Sooooo... Is Nuge officially out of contract and technically classed as no longer an LCFC player from today?
Bert Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Sooooo... Is Nuge officially out of contract and technically classed as no longer an LCFC player from today?Yep. Expect him to be there for testing though....
st albans fox Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Sooooo... Is Nuge officially out of contract and technically classed as no longer an LCFC player from today? Yep - but from what I have read it won't be for long. Technically, he will become a new signing!!!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Saw Nuge and his family on Sunday at Sainsburys near Fosse Park, seemed very relaxed - body language suggested he is staying
sphericalfox Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Saw Nuge and his family on Sunday at Sainsburys near Fosse Park, seemed very relaxed - body language suggested he is staying HUZZAH! Was he pushing Jeff in the trolley?
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 This may be a silly question, but with him now a free agent will he get a signing on fee?
Robin JD Popley Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Pre-Season doesn't begin until 7th July. Yep. Expect him to be there for testing though.... I meant the pre-testing thing Father Ted as Bert quoted - got to remember now we are Premier League the main gig doesn't start until a week later on everything else.
Mister Pastry Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 HUZZAH! Was he pushing Jeff in the trolley? No not in Sainsbury's, they save all that type of tomfoolery for Tesco Express in Countesthorpe.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 As expected he was at the testing session today. That would be bizarre if he was actually planning to be elsewhere!
yorkie1999 Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 image.jpg But that's a hooters training top, not a leicester one.
lgfualol Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 He looks quite happy in the training pics today He has £_£ eyes, that's why.
LCFC FOX Posted 2 July 2014 Posted 2 July 2014 He's no longer a Leicester player, he's just training with us until he signs a contract with someone then?
jammie82uk Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 He's no longer a Leicester player, he's just training with us until he signs a contract with someone then? PAPA LAZAROU Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Training don't start till the 7th if he was leaving why bother with the fitness test I Reckon the contract has already been sorted just not announced yet If it's sorted then why keep it a secret ?
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 If it's sorted then why keep it a secret ? Agreed, they didn't waste any time getting pics of Drinky and James up on the website when their contracts were sorted
Stevosevic Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Ridiculous it has dragged on beyond the point of his contract actually expiring.
Robin JD Popley Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Surely, SURELY this will be resolved before Monday?
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Ridiculous it has dragged on beyond the point of his contract actually expiring. Think of the money we are saving
