What's everyones opinion on it? I didn't really no how to argue against him because I dont really no a terrible amount about it. anybody got any arguements for and against for the illumananti or any other conspiracy theories?

The illuminati exist in some way shape or form, whether they are called the illuminati, the masons, anonymous or something else, there are certainly organisations which have power and influence and operate outside of the conventional law. How much power and influence they have is certainly debatable and in the past they probably had more influence. It is certainly something you can't dismiss out of hand.

But don't let logical reasoning and facts get in the way. i'd never say all conspiracy theories are true , but some undoubtedly are , and some have since been proven eg Marinus van der Lubbe was given a fair trial and it was "proved" that he burned down the Reichstag . Why did people doubt such things ? Why did these conspiracy theorists let facts such as this get in the way ? Leaders can’t lie about these events , someone would say something and expose them . Well it was not the truth , there indeed was a conspiracy of massive proportions that sparked a massive change in Germany

Destruction proceeds through the path of greatest resistance at nearly free-fall acceleration 2. Improbable symmetry of debris distribution 3. Extremely rapid onset of destruction 4. Over 100 first responders reported explosions and flashes 5. Multi-ton steel sections ejected laterally 6. Mid-air pulverization of 90,000 tons of concrete & metal decking 7. Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic-like clouds 8. 1200-foot-dia. debris field: no "pancaked" floors found 9. Isolated explosive ejections 20 – 40 stories below demolition front 10. Total building destruction: dismemberment of steel frame 11. Several tons of molten metal found under all 3 high-rises 12. Evidence of thermite incendiaries found by FEMA in steel samples 13. Evidence of explosives found in dust samples 14. No precedent for steel-framed high-rise collapse due to fire Just closely watch the collapse of of the buildings via the many youtube videos a few times and you will see these chartacteristics displayed . These characteristics are only possible during a "contolled demolition" and is more than enough reason to doubt the official story But i feel as though i've gone over this time and time again and will just accept that peple can believe what they choose to believe or what their paradigmatic mindset will allow .So I'll bow out edit;to demonstrate If you take a walk in the countryside and see a clump of trees you may think they are there by accident or design. If the trees are all pear trees you may still think they are there by accident or design but design and planning is looking likely. If the pear trees are all arranged in straight lines and set equidistant apart then they are pretty well certain to be there by design and planning of human hand. This demonstrates that if a number of characteristics of planning and design are shown, then it is almost certain that planning and design was used, and are not random events. As such the evidence for controlled demolition in the WTC is there. There are at least 14 characteristics of controlled demolition that do no appear in any random collapses

I'm quite interested in what you mean. I do find this whole global super power in control quite depressing though when you realise all the structural politics that shape the world (the IMF, WTO etc come to mind).

I don't think there is an undercover global superpower controlling the Governments, but when you look at US politics the same families and names crop up, especially on the Rebuplican side, but then they are not that covert or sinister, just dangerous. Then you have the Masons, who are probably the closest to what the Illuminati are if they exist, an elite club for powerful men (I don't think women are allowed) who look out for each other and help each other and give other members advantages in legal and sometimes illegal ways, there is often speculation that members of the police force are masons. Then you also have groups like anonymous, illegal hacking collectives who again could be considered a secret society, It is perfectly feasible that the illuminati exist, or existed, depending on what your friend was arguing I can't really give an opinion as to who was right or not, but things like the pyramid and eye on the 1 dollar bill are illuminati symbols and an example of the power they exert on the US government has been proved to be bollox.
