Haydos Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 I just think it looks so much nicer. For some reason it doesn't look as boring as the naff effort this year as well. I just prefer watching us in red.
absolutelegend Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 White shirt, red shorts. Like the flag of st. George.

absolutelegend Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Serious question...why do we have blue in our home kit?
Harry - LCFC Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 I do. The kit we're wearing now looks a lot more striking. Much prefer it to all white which I find incredibly plain.
purpleronnie Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 well thanks to FIFA the only chance you'll see England in the red strip is if we make it to the last 16.
The Doctor Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 The kit at the moment is lovely. The best england kit was the 2002 one with the red bar down the chest mind.
Jace Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 We have a better win ratio playing in our away kit than home kit which is quite an unusual stat for a football team so for that reason I wouldn't be against it.
Voll Blau Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 CAULIFLOWER IS TRADITIONAL. That's all I have to say on the matter.
xHamzah Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 White shirt, red shorts. Like the flag of st. George. This.
Haydos Posted 4 June 2014 Author Posted 4 June 2014 The kit at the moment is lovely. The best england kit was the 2002 one with the red bar down the chest mind. Was that the reversible one? I did like that one.
The Doctor Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Was that the reversible one? I did like that one. I think so yeah, All red on the other side?
Nalis Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Red looks better but I'm a fan of the national kit colours being based on the country's flag, with the obvious exceptions of course (Italy, NZ)
Haydos Posted 4 June 2014 Author Posted 4 June 2014 I think so yeah, All red on the other side? Nah, it had a bit more navy instead of red and some feint blue lines across it. Second one of the pics above.
The Doctor Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Nah, it had a bit more navy instead of red and some feint blue lines across it. Second one of the pics above. Not the one I'm thinking of. I was thinking of this: That one was pretty good too mind.
Kitchandro Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Red is our away kit so no. It would help if they actually bothered designing the kits. Of course a plain white shirt is going to look crap. We should be white with navy shorts, that is what England colours are. We used to have lovely home kits - see Italia 90, Spain 82, Euro 96, Euro 2004, France 98, Euro 92 etc. The problem is not that red is better than white as such it's that we have crap kits now.
Webbo Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Did I hear right that FIFA have ruled that all teams should have the same colour shirts and shorts for the WC?
Richard Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 I said this before the game, red is much better. Why do we play in white and black/navy? It should be red and white. We wore red when we won the World Cup so...

Jace Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 I could be mistaken but I think we have quite a good winning record in red at the World Cup Yes we have its better than our home record
wakeyfox01 Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Where does blue appear in the Italian flag? White and navy looks much better than white and red anyway
