Guest Col city fan Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 What a terrible fookin draw! I admire the continued optimism of the City faithful but that couldnt have been a lot harder!
Brooksy Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 Everton (H) Win Chelsea (A) Loss Arsenal (H) Loss Stoke (A) Loss Manchester United (H) Win
theessexfox Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 Good chance to find our feet in the Premier League with little pressure or expectation on us, hopefully people are realistic and long-sighted if we don't start well.
fleckneymike Posted 18 June 2014 Posted 18 June 2014 WBA aside, no one has a particularly taxing last set of matches. I think next season may well see higher point totals in the bottom half than in recent years.
foxile5 Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 To be honest each and every team in this league is hard.
Monsell1976 Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Don't get all this we have a hard start, not so hard finish, but other teams have harder ends to a season, we and all the other teams play each other twice in a season, so doesn't matter when we play anybody. The end of season fixtures might not count for anything as teams can be relegated well before the final half dozen games. Doesn't matter when we play the bigger teams, come the end of the season, if we are good enough we stay up, if we ain't hopefully it doesn't take as long to get out of the championship.
WhispyWizard Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014  Everton (H) Win Chelsea (A) Loss Arsenal (H) Loss Stoke (A) Loss Manchester United (H) Win   I think we'll have more chance beating Arsenal, who can run hot and cold, than beat Van Gaals Man U.  Seriously, whoever makes the fixture list obviously wants Man U to have a good start, 3 promoted clubs and 3 that avoided relegation in their first 6 games!
Mike Oxlong Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 The teams that we play on the run in are more likely than not to be scrapping for their lives so I think we're going to have to fight for every point from those final fixtures.

What the same guy who is in brazil has won 2 from 2 and manages a club who has signed no one. Glass half full
fazzyfox Posted 20 June 2014 Posted 20 June 2014 I would have preferred a more even spread of games but as long as a run of difficult games and possibly poor results doesn't affect confidence too much then when on the other hand we get to the October / November run we could see a lot of points and a confidence like last season, a real opportunity to build a run. Similarly the closing run of games should bring a few wins but it would be nice not to be too reliant on those games and to start that run outside of the bottom three.
Dr The Singh Posted 20 June 2014 Posted 20 June 2014 Every team in that league will see Leicester as a winnable game!!
Carl the Llama Posted 20 June 2014 Posted 20 June 2014 Every team in that league will see Leicester as a winnable game!! More fool them then. If anybody thinks we'll be a Cardiff mk II then they haven't been paying attention.
