Stadt Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 Cameroon haven't been great and Croatia should always have beaten these but Croatia are looking a real good side at the World Cup, that defeat first up isn't the worst thing that will have happened to them. Expect them to beat Mexico on this performance!I think the Mexico game could go either way, but it's a must not lose game for Mexico so I could see them setting up quite defensively.

Song's actions (chasing after a Croatian player and blatantly elbowing him in the back) were like something you'd expect of a particularly short-tempered 13-year-old in a school playground! The bloke seemed to have done next to nothing to him, either. Very odd as well, given he apparently "doesn't like football" and only plays for the money. Cameroon flew to Brazil a day late due to a dispute over bonuses, so maybe they had negotiated a bonus payment for each goal scored and Assou-Ekotto was angry at losing some cash because his teammate missed the chance?! I'd already read that the public in Cameroon were pretty unimpressed with the dispute over bonuses, so I assume that the Cameroon players will be given some abuse when they return home.
