Captain... Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 From a pure footballing point of view I would take Campbell, but his wages and injury record put me off. Deeney has a great scoring record in the champ, but I've not been impressed the few times I've seen him play. Slimani looked decent in the World Cup but other than that I know nothing about him, but neither do the rest of the prem and he could have that surprise element that gives us the edge in a few games. I wouldn't be mad at any of them signing, but I would be surprised if Nige is still looking for a striker now we have spent a lot of money on Ulloa.

WhispyWizard Posted 23 July 2014 Posted 23 July 2014 I chose Deeney because you roughly know what your going to get, closely followed by Slimani I dont think that the 3 we have will "probably" be the starters at all, Deeney and Slimani are not going to come here to be 4th choice, these are all players (apart from Slimani the unknown quality) that have impressed at Championship level.
