ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 With Ulloa, Vardy and Nugent looking like our 3 leading strikers and Pearson seemingly looking for another one - which of these 3 would you prefer? Slimani Campbell Deeney
SeCrEt FoX Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Slimani for me. Ok il get shot for saying it but it's exciting buying unknown/unproven players cause you never know ie Michu for Swansea, what an impact he made. And I know it could go tits up but come on, its worth the risk, isn't it?
lgfualol Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Slimani for the Algerian link. Not Deeney cus he's a stupid willy puller. Not Campbell because 40k wages no thank you.
chicagofox Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Not Deeney cus he's a stupid willy puller. You know him personally do you?
Carl the Llama Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Deeney just about gets my vote because he's already used to English football where he's a prolific scorer for a crap club. Imagine what he can do at a real club. I also really like what it says about the direction the two clubs have taken since bellend day if their best player leaves to join us one year later. Top trolling, Nige.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Touch and go between Slimani and Deeney, but feel the former has the edge over him.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 22 July 2014 Author Posted 22 July 2014 I've gone Deeney. If Ulloa got injured we'd be back to square 1 in terms of a target man!
SomalianFox15 Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Either Slimani or Campbell. Don't like Deeney at all.
kingfox Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Deeney. Slimani has the most votes why? He looked like he had worse first touch than Beckford at times for Algeria.
Ed25 Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Don't understand how Slimani has the most votes. His record of 8 in 26 in Portugal is hardly pulling up any trees
Carl the Llama Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Don't understand how Slimani has the most votes. His record of 8 in 26 in Portugal is hardly pulling up any trees Because he's Algerian like Riyad, plays in a foreign league, and had a run in the World Cup, he doesn't need a prolific record for everyone to lust after him.
chicagofox Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 for a crap club. Imagine what he can do at a real club. I don't know if you always do but you are talking a load of bollox here.
Carl the Llama Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 I don't know if you always do but you are talking a load of bollox here. I don't know if you've heard the phrase "tongue in cheek", but it applies here.
Number 6 Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Campbell as I think he'd fill the Vardy void we miss so desperately when he's out injured / suspended.
Fox92 Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Campbell for me. Would have said Deeney if we didn't have Ulloa, but voted Campbell because he's scored goals at that level.
dorsetboy Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Slimani for me for the pure fact I'm afat c**t and the words slim on the back would be awesome
Carl the Llama Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Slimani for me for the pure fact I'm afat c**t and the words slim on the back would be awesome But that's only one word...
jayfox26 Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 I've gone for Campbell so long as they can get him down on his wages. Don't know much about Slimani and I've never been keen on Deeney
LCCFox96 Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Campbell to better compliment the squad as I thought we looked significantly weaker without Vardy last year so he does seem the most necessary addition. Also the smallest outlay too. I'd take Deeney over Slimani though.
