Walsall vs. City match thread

Criticizing Taggart for 'not talking a lot' is laughable. He talks about football, he gives a good picture of what is going on, the exact thing that a pundit should do. Not pointless discussion that Alan Young used to do.

More importantly, he can pronounce the names players correctly, and he is willing to put Stringer in his place and correct him.

e.g. the comments from stringer about 'james and drinkwater getting an england call-up', Taggart corrected him very well.

what did he say?

Lack of communication between second choice keeper, second choice left back and a striker playing at center back - shock.

Pre-season....who gives a s**t?

Hoping for Ulloa and Vardy second half.

this.

It's a kick-about

Hamer at fault again? What happened? Last week he was "involved" with Ilkeston's goal. I don't take a great notice, it's pre-season and he might be rusty but not only conceding two goals but when they're questionable?

Sounds like it was more Hopper to be honest....but given his lack of experience at center back and his age, you might as well criticize someone else.

Hopper missed it but Hamer and Konchesky had the chance to clear, but after an "after you Claude" incident their trialist nipped in to score.

I meant Taggart

He was just correcting him saying something along the lines of 'there is a long long way to go, but they will be on the stage next season to show what they can do'. Whereas Stringer was acting like it is definetley going to happen.
