Bryn Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Did we concede again? Nah just another spilling of the ball.
Steven Posted 30 July 2014 Author Posted 30 July 2014 Did we concede again? No but you wouldn't know from the commentary.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Who needs this Ulloa bloke, Wes Morgan's prolific.
steveherbe Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Tbf, hamer must be knackered, he's been playing test cricket at southampton all day - or at least, his beard has.
Steven Posted 30 July 2014 Author Posted 30 July 2014 Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 0-2
David Guiza Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Nugent is having a great start to pre-season. Couple of goals at Ilkeston, unlucky with a worldie offside goal against Everton and another tonight. Long may it continue..
Lionator Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Quite concerning. We were terrible in pre-season last season yet this season we're amazing.
Big Dave Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Although Taggart talks a lot more sense than Youngy used to, he is so bloody boring to listen to.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Although Taggart talks a lot more sense than Youngy used to, he is so bloody boring to listen to. I'll take interesting over shouty any day, and I haven't heard much of Taggs yet, but these are meaningless games and he could get more into it with points at stake.
Greatness_Since_1884 Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Just read it's 4-4-2. Doesn't say much for a guy like Sesay if NP would rather play a striker in his position
Grewks Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 Criticizing Taggart for 'not talking a lot' is laughable. He talks about football, he gives a good picture of what is going on, the exact thing that a pundit should do. Not pointless discussion that Alan Young used to do. More importantly, he can pronounce the names players correctly, and he is willing to put Stringer in his place and correct him. e.g. the comments from stringer about 'james and drinkwater getting an england call-up', Taggart corrected him very well.
Out Foxed Posted 30 July 2014 Posted 30 July 2014 I think I've now realised why he irritates me so much ... he talks to everyone like he's the experienced man of football .... he's already called Jason Bourne "young lad" and "son" .... and patronised Andy King "credit to the lad" .... Hamer "that'll live with him from pre-season, believe me". You're not 50 Stringer and you've never played football .... just commentate ffs. nail on head. it's part of his whole "lad" schtick.
