Guest Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 plenty of time to bring in more players - could be good in that way. Really good player so far though.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 Without strength in depth we are going to get so fvcked this season, unless we're happy with playing GTF on the wing.
jimmer Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 Knocky, Vards & Albrighton with niggles.. starting to wish we still had Lloyd as back up! on the bench today for watford too..
cjslcfc Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 Have a feeling these injuries will force Pearson into the market somewhat. Interesting to see Schlupp on the wing though
benpicko Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 Knocky, Vards & Albrighton with niggles.. starting to wish we still had Lloyd as back up! on the bench today for watford too.. He traded in the bench in the premiership with us for the bench in the championship with them?
lcfcsnow Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 Only ourselves to blame, it's a position that clearly needs strenthening. Imagine if Drinkwater of James got injured. Maybe this is what needs to happen to force us into it though.

Guest Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 brighton losing Forest top of the league Deeney scored
davieG Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 The early signings were easy as it was a step up for those involved. The players we need now will have been playing the waiting game hoping for bigger clubs than us to offer them a deal. it's inevitable we'll be getting mostly left overs that over PL and Euro top leagues didn't want.
jimmer Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 He traded in the bench in the premiership with us for the bench in the championship with them? Sadly yes it does seem that way at the mo... Lloyd could really live to regret this decision! Amazing how a few injury's can make you look incredibly thin and fragile.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 I don't think it's a bad injury, probably taken off as a precaution

benpicko Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 After having a good season for injuries last year hopefully we're not ****ed over this one
Guest Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 We've signed one player that isn't a free transfer.. is that really all that is out there for us? What does it matter if they're free transfers or not?
cc_star Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 Only ourselves to blame, it's a position that clearly needs strenthening. Imagine if Drinkwater of James got injured. Maybe this is what needs to happen to force us into it though. Is this a joke or serious? We've collected players in the recent past, had two players for every position & if the players are good (or think they're good), it doesn't work, if they're not good then what's the point? A close knit squad going the extra mile for each other is worth 10 players drawing a wage, contributing nothing but carping on from the sidelines We've got a record breaking first team, we've got a great development squad. We're in much better shape than perennial PL strugglers & other promoted sides who we're in a different class from. Should we have retained Dyer? Yes! I'm sure NP wanted to but the club were only offering 1 year deal so he took a 3 year deal. Shame as Dyer has been our best player Vs Prem sides in recent history and I believe his pace would have been effective off the bench & his workrate would have helped keep wingbacks on the back foot. Other than that I think we're in pretty good shape & 3 weeks is plenty of time to bring more in should the management think we need it
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 I'm trying to follow the game by keeping an eye on the board on the web site, but they didn't even announce the goal
MPH Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 According to the lady I spoke to on the phone Kop and family stand sold out. For the life of me I can't work out how that's possible though. Guy branston coming out of retirement to lead our defence. Signing on the pitch after the game . #ITK
cjslcfc Posted 9 August 2014 Posted 9 August 2014 We've signed one player that isn't a free transfer.. is that really all that is out there for us? You really think we haven't tried to sign players? We can't just sign players to fill spaces up because we might not have the numbers
