Foxes1 Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Werder are currently 3 up against Chelsea (I know its only a Friendly), but they they should give us a good game and we hopefully should see how we far against a good European team we have come. We could very well see the team that NP will start with against Everton on the 16th
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 If we don't beat them by 3 clear goals, Pearson out, Top out, liquidate the club.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Well judging by foxestalk logic, Chelsea need to strengthen big time, If not I'm afraid it's a very sour relegation season lined up for them.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 If it's "just a friendly" against Chelsea then it'll be just a friendly against us. Boring as it may seem there's never a lot to take from pre-season games, last year showed that pretty well.
Fox92 Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 I await "we're not very good", "we're going down" if we do lose to Bremen, a team that's just beaten Chelsea 3-0. I remember Monaco last season.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Gary Lineker on Twitter 'For all you fans affected by your clubs pre-season results.. they mean nothing, absolutely nothing'. Just remember that in case WB smash us to bits, and equally if we turn them over.
lgfualol Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 As long as our defence arent shit, it is okay. I'm travelling to Italy by train that day so I'm gonna have a jolly good time.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 I have never and will never take any notice of the result of a pre season friendly, simply because players do not put 100% in to their performances. They have to watch out for injuries etc... Yes I will be at the KP on Saturday, but only because it's been too long since I have been there. If we win lose or draw it means nothing, it will just be good to see us back in action at the KP again.

Couldn't have put it better myself - it's basically the football version of pre-season testing and practice sessions in f1
Alex_LCFC Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Monaco stuffed us 3-0 last year.. Then we won the league
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 We play Rotherham on Tuesday night before this game Shouldn't we have an MK Dons pre match thread first?I don't think that's a first team friendly. We've got Rotherham on Tuesday
Stadt Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 We play Rotherham on Tuesday night before this game I don't think that's a first team friendly. We've got Rotherham on Tuesday We're sending split teams out aren't we?
Collymore Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Monaco stuffed us 3-0 last year.. Then we won the league How is us getting stuffed by Monaco relevant? If we played them now we'd still get mullered.
veezeeblue Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 We're sending split teams out aren't we? hope not, about time NP put his first out against Rotheram and Werder ! need to hit the ground running against Everton fed up of pre season let´s get real
promised land Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 How is us getting stuffed by Monaco relevant? If we played them now we'd still get mullered.Maybe, they beat Arsenal today 1-0, and Arsenal mullered Benfica yesterday 5-1 at the a Emirates Cup.Arsenal do look strong up front this season.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 How is us getting stuffed by Monaco relevant? If we played them now we'd still get mullered. I'm not sure we would as they don't look as good as they did last season
LeicesterBran Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Personally hope we can get a win but, it's gonna tough. Whether we win, lose or draw it'll be a good run out for us.
Guest bss9401 Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 By pre-season foxestalk logic... ... if we lose 2-0 or better by WB....then Chelski go on to finish 2nd in the PL....f**k me we are going to win the league
gazfox9 Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Does anybody know if they're selling tickets on the day for this one? My brother in law is over (reading fan) and want to show him a proper team!
MC Prussian Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 Does anybody know if they're selling tickets on the day for this one? My brother in law is over (reading fan) and want to show him a proper team! It's hardly going to sell out, so I assume they will still sell tickets right on the spot on Saturday.
gazfox9 Posted 5 August 2014 Posted 5 August 2014 It's hardly going to sell out, so I assume they will still sell tickets right on the spot on Saturday. Thats what I was thinking. Didn't wanna get left high and dry tho.
