Unabomber Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Nice goal from Nasri, so doubt he will do it again on Sat. All very very good news for us.
VLC86 Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Nice goal from Nasri, so doubt he will do it again on Sat. All very very good news for us. Don't worry they will all be at it on Saturday, Mangala might even be made to look like a defender.

ScouseFox Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 anyone any idea what happens if this roma game finishes 1-1??
Finnegan Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 anyone any idea what happens if this roma game finishes 1-1?? Rock, paper, scissors.
VLC86 Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Against Nugent? You sure mate? Hearing rumours that he will go down injured in the 90th minute tonight after realising he will be facing Nuge.
VLC86 Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 anyone any idea what happens if this roma game finishes 1-1?? The ref disappears into the Roma room for 5 minutes, emerges with a briefcase filled with €'s and they go through.
ScouseFox Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 thanks for theds legit answers it appears 1-1 means city go through if cska lose. if cska draw then 1-1 means roma go through? or roma need to win 2-1. basically shit.

Yup, goes on goals scored or goal difference.Good job the defender didn't pussy out on that one then.
ScouseFox Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 gotta give it to city, there's no way they should've got through but they have. beating bayern and winning in rome in their last two games is pretty tidy. shame they're through in second and will inevitably lose to barca/real/atleti etc next round. oh well.
Dan Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Fair play Man City. Thought they'd be beaten tonight but they turned up big time, unlike Roma. They've really improved of late.
Donut Posted 10 December 2014 Posted 10 December 2014 Composed display from Man City, Fernandinho and Fernando did well in midfield and it was only really that initial 15 min spell at the beginning of the 1st half where you worried for Man City. After the opening goal there was no way back for Roma who were disappointing on the night for me. Kompany and Silva likely to be playing at the weekend too, so could be a tough afternoon.
kingcarr21 Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Lets have some predictions for who will play who in the Last 16 Winners of there groups Atletico Madrid Real Madrid Monaco Borrusia Dortmund Bayern Munich Barcelona Chelsea Porto Runners up Juventus Basel Bayer Leverkusen Arsenal Man City PSG Schalke Shakhtar Donetsk Now i believe teams cant face another team from the same country or were in the same group and the winners of there group play away 1st leg (think thats right correct me if im wrong) So im going to go with PSG vs Chelsea Arsenal vs Monaco Man City vs Atletico Madrid Schalke vs Real Madrid Juventus vs Barcelona Shakhtar Donetsk vs Bayern Munich Basel vs Borrusia Dortmund Bayer Leverkusen vs Porto Lets see who can get the most correct
Dan Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 I predict as usual Bayern, Barca and Real all avoid each other in the quarters.
Donut Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Id probably say Leverkusen were the team Chelsea would want. Struggling currently in the Bundesliga, I think theyd rather take them on than make a long trip to the Ukraine to face Shakhtar who on their day are a dangerous outfit or Basel, who have a history of upsetting English teams and are strong at Jakob Park. As for Arsenal, youd probably go with Monaco. Won their group despite only managing 4 goals and had weakened from last season. Surreal atmosphere for the away game in front of 4,000 fans probably, youd have to fancy them to win that tie despite their frailties. Man City would also want Monaco with them lurking in the runner up pot, but I dont think they would mind drawing Porto, or Dortmund. Id fancy them to take away goals off both.
One Legged Beaver Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Atletico Madrid vs Schalke Real Madrid vs Arsenal Monaco vs Juventus Borrusia Dortmund vs Man City Bayern Munich vs Basel Barcelona vs Shakhtar Chelsea vs Bayer Leverkusen Porto vs PSG
StanSP Posted 11 December 2014 Posted 11 December 2014 Did this on another forum: Juventus vs Chelsea PSG vs Porto Schalke vs Atletico Madrid Shakhtar vs Bayern Man City vs Barcelona Leverkusen vs Real Madrid Arsenal vs Monaco Basel vs Dortmund
Dan Posted 13 December 2014 Posted 13 December 2014 What a laugh if Basel draw Monaco. One of those two in the quarters
kingcarr21 Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 draw is about to be made. Lets see who got the most right. I will post the results shortly
MC Prussian Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 PSG - Chelsea (The Battle of Who Costs More) Manchester City - Barcelona (City vs. Messi) Bayer Leverkusen - Atlético Madrid Juventus - Borussia Dortmund (so like 1997) Schalke - Real Madrid (Goodbye Schalke) Shakhtar Donetsk - Bayern Munich Arsenal - AS Monaco (The Wenger Connection) FC Basel - Porto FC
kingcarr21 Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 PSG - Chelsea Manchester City - Barcelona Bayer Leverkusen - Atlético Madrid Juventus - Borussia Dortmund Schalke - Real Madrid Donezk - Bayern Munich Arsenal - AS Monaco FC Basel - Porto FC Some decent matches there. David Luiz taking on former club. Repeat of last year for Man City Arsenal will be delighted with that. As for the guessing game only 3 people had a go. I got 4 out of 8 correct. Pretty good Stan got 3 One legged beaver had a mare
One Legged Beaver Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Pffft, not even one... Don't think I'm even going to bother predicting the winners of each tie after that!
Dan Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Ridiculous how many repeat ties there are. Do Schalke and Real ever avoid each other? Man City shafted again
MC Prussian Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Arsenal should easily advance against a team that managed to score four times in six group-stage matches. PSG vs. Chelsea is a toughie. I actually fancy PSG to pull it off this time. Manchester City can only hope their strikeforce is back in action in time. Messi, Suarez and Neymar against Kompany, Zabaleta, Mangala or Demichelis will be a treat.
