Corky Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Great start for the new League teams, both winning 1-0. Bad start for Sheffield United with a home defeat in League One. And an opening defeat for Coventry City
Fox92 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Bristol City were impressive going forward. Not sure about their defending, but they have a fairly impressive squad at that level.
AKCJ Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Pretty sure threads already exist for these leagues.
Corky Posted 10 August 2014 Author Posted 10 August 2014 Couldn't find them. Only the Championship and non-league.
Fox92 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Don't think they do. I looked yesterday to post while watching Sheffield United match on tv.
SomalianFox15 Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 A good 2-1 win for Fleetwood Town in league one over Crewe. Vardy will be happy.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 Bristol City's kit is awful You know what their kit looks like
Vicki Vixen Posted 10 August 2014 Posted 10 August 2014 I went to Wimbledon v Shrewsbury yesterday. Both look like strong, well organised sides, I can see them both challenging for the playoffs. Akinfenwa looks like a nightclub bouncer, impossible to play against if you get the ball into his feet.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 August 2014 Posted 11 August 2014 The league really is Bizzle's to take by the horns this season, Bladock and JET is a very tidy front two for that level. Fancy them and Sheff Yanited top two.
MC Prussian Posted 1 September 2014 Posted 1 September 2014 Doncaster teasing the crowds with some "news" on Richie Wellens' future...
Soar Fox Posted 7 September 2014 Posted 7 September 2014 Just watching Burton v Portsmouth. Two things that are really bad. 1. The co-commentator sounds so boring. 2. Whichever set of fans has got the drum and trumpet need banning from every ground in England.
Grandad. Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 I'm off Chesterfield v Scunthorpe on Saturday.. Thriller.
Vicki Vixen Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 I'm off Chesterfield v Scunthorpe on Saturday.. Thriller. I imagine this is what Chelsea and Man U fans would say about the idea of watching Stoke v Leicester.
Grandad. Posted 11 September 2014 Posted 11 September 2014 I imagine this is what Chelsea and Man U fans would say about the idea of watching Stoke v Leicester. Haha this will be a little less glamorous than that!
Corky Posted 18 September 2014 Author Posted 18 September 2014 Micky Adams leaves Port Vale (again): http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29253698 Took over in 18th place in League Two and finished 10th in League One last season. Impressive stuff.
Fox92 Posted 29 September 2014 Posted 29 September 2014 Portsmouth finally clear debt. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2773497/Portsmouth-reveal-finally-debt-free-paying-7m-18-months.html Official: http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/news/article/legacy-debts-fully-settled-1975561.aspx
Unabomber Posted 8 October 2014 Posted 8 October 2014 Does anyone know who the commentator is atm on the big game?
Leicesterpool Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 With it being the international break weekend, I'm off to watch Crewe play Coventry. Crewe currently struggling at the bottom of league one.
Asha Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 That's a bit odd really, but I know so many people like that. Football is nice but when there's a weekend off from City there's so many other things you can do. "Oop no Leicester this weekend, we'll have to get another game in" and would pick a similarly random fixture from the lower leagues like Exeter v Hartlepool that's miles away from where they live. If it's a game as part of a weekend away in a new foreign city then fair enough. I just can't imagine being excited about driving all the way to Crewe for a League One game where I'm not supporting either team.
Grandad. Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Russ Wilcox has finally been sacked from Scunthorpe, hopefully Billy can get a start now.

It's a perfect opportunity to visit a ground I haven't visited yet, however I'd only go to a neutral game if its not to far away and get able.
Fox92 Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Russ Wilcox has finally been sacked from Scunthorpe, hopefully Billy can get a start now. Finally? I think it was harsh.
cjslcfc Posted 9 October 2014 Posted 9 October 2014 Finally? I think it was harsh. A little harsh on the face of it. However, the unbeaten run covered up a lot of cracks. Not improved one jot this season.
