King looks a certainty to start in midfield for Wales. Looking at that squad, I'm hoping it's King, Ledley, J Williams in the middle.

Remember when MattP thought Joniesta was his real name lol

So with Chambers Shaw and Berahino in the U21's could we be seeing Clyne at RB and Gibbs at LB with our very own Vardy up front? I will finally be able to answer the question on my Profile i put on 20th November if Vardy is in.

Surprised he has only picked 3 strikers.

Pleased for Clyne and Shelvey but what on earth is Andros Townsend doing in the squad? Desperation.

Based on a couple of good games last year..

Still least some more are being picked on form.

Stoke fans not happy about Shawcross being "ignored" again.

Andros Townsend has never let England down. He is one bizarre player.

See Mark Hughes having a bit of a snipe at the fact there's no Shawcross yet there's three Everton defenders.

Always seems to be away too in terms of friendlies (not played them at home for a while)

Funny you should say that as I saw on sky sports that we've not played them away since 2000.

We've also got a return friendly though the date hasn't been confirmed yet.

Italy away in March. Have we not played them enough over the last 2.5 years?

I'll actually be in Italy for this,if it's played down south I'll go.No doubt it'll be up north miles away.

Townsend was good when he burst onto the International scene, but on current form over other players no way, hardly touched a ball this season has he?

Still no Mark Noble either  :nono:

Thursday was lining up to be a complete waste of time but I am actually fairly up for this San Marino game now. For one Thursday is the only night this week I'm going to get out the house so I'll at the very least be able moan about what a waste of time this fixture is down the pub with beer, and yet again someone has bet a tidy some of money with me that we wont stick five past them so I should at least have something to watch it for. I can remember the last time I had that bet we labored to a 5-0 win hopefully it'll be a bit more convincing this time.
