The Maths involved is annoying. They weight friendlies and official contests differently That could be why you see the rankings the way they are. I guess it would only matter when seeding for world cup comes around? or do they use it in later euro stages also?

The initial decision was to award Serbia the win and then subsequently punish them with a 3 point deduction. Now it swings the other way? And Serbian fans didn't invade the pitch just like that. Albanian "fans" provoked with a drone, a Serbian player takes it down and Albanian players react to this. That sparks the pitch invasion. Surely then, whenever there's a Balkan derby, this case would set a precedent that it's OK to provoke, you might even be awarded a win!

It came out later about the poor security, how could you defend serbian fans attacking players just because a drone flew over and was pulled down, if we start awarding teams for their fans beating up players on the pitch then a precedent is set. Right decision made in the end.

Right decision made in the end. Oh I am not condoning the Serbian fans' behaviour, don't get me wrong. The drone with that message, sent over by Albanians and the way the Albanian players reacted to it being taken down proves to me that the Albanians are not absolved from blame at all. Why Albania should get 3 points from this incident, which was stoked by their own fans, I really do not know. I thought both teams getting 0 points was fair, but I would rather have seen a rematch behind closed doors.

Has it ever been properly established that the drone was actually sent/controlled by an Albanian?
