Fox42 Posted 13 June 2015 Posted 13 June 2015 How Serbia have only 1 point from 5 games with their line up is crazyThey got deducted 3 points, didn't they?
Dan Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 I wouldn't laugh at Greece too much. They'll go and win their last four games 1-0, finish third and win the play-offs on penalties. It's the Greek way. I had a thought come across me earlier though.... has a bottom seed ever beaten the top seed home and away in qualifying before? If you think it's generally going to be something like Holland v Malta then I'd imagine not.
st albans fox Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 They got deducted 3 points, didn't they? Just realised that - mid you, 4 from 5 games isn't anything to shout about
Alexikokopops Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 I'll bet you and you alone a ten quid donation to foxes talk we go further than you. You'll turn up, play like you can't be arsed, Rooney will be crap, you'll all moan about it and you'll flop. Our lot might be fifty percent complete bollocks but they'll all play out of their skins. I'm in. Slight conflict of interest mind -the better Wales do the more the missus will let me watch
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 I'm in. Slight conflict of interest mind -the better Wales do the more the missus will let me watch You know that come next year you will be a Wales fan. There's no conflict.
Jordan Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 Austria kept a clean sheet in Russia to stay on track for qualification. I'm going to assume Fuchs made 100 successful tackles to help the Austrian cause.
MC Prussian Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 Switzerland . Awful team. Three points in the bag. Thank you. I assume England played a lot better in Slovenia?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 Three points in the bag. Thank you. I assume England played a lot better in Slovenia? England did yep ...
MC Prussian Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 They did yeah. Switzerland are horrific. We needed a big kick up the arse to set something in motion. I'm not going to lie that it was a horrible game in Vilnius tonight. No real incentive going forward, most players looked terribly knackered and then you're faced with playing Lithuania and their 5-4-1 which doesn't make things easier. Glad to see the team showed willpower and put in an extra effort when it looked rather bleak. But Djourou still freaks me out big time whenever I see him feature for the national squad - you always know something bad's about to happen, be it a lapse of concentration, poor positioning or losing a simple one-on-one. Off to the summer break. Status quo restored in Group E.
Finnegan Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 We're going to be top seeds for wc qualifying. #massive
Nalis Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 Looking at the potential seedings there could be some absolute horror groups in WC qualifying.
MC Prussian Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 We're going to be top seeds for wc qualifying. #massive Looking at the potential seedings there could be some absolute horror groups in WC qualifying. 25th of July. Mark the day.
Bert Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 Three points in the bag. Thank you. I assume England played a lot better in Slovenia? 18 points from a possible 18 with our two toughest away games out the way says so.
Dan Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 We're going to be top seeds for wc qualifying. #massive I'm not saying this to have a dig but what exactly have you done that Poland or Slovakia haven't?
Wymsey Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 Can imagine Wales 1-0 England in group match, King comes on 88th minute and scores on 92nd. Everyone will call him a legend. It's nailed on.
MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 18 points from a possible 18 with our two toughest away games out the way says so. I was referring to the England game against Slovenia only, Bert. Looking forward to September.
CosbehFox Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Wales' promotion into the top seeds sees France and one of Italy or Croatia into the second seed category.
Finnegan Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 I'm not saying this to have a dig but what exactly have you done that Poland or Slovakia haven't? It's because Belgium are somehow ranked 2nd in the world which is also ridiculous. So we'll get a crazy wedge of points. If you hadn't beaten Slovenia, we'd actually be ahead of you for the first time ever, apparently. As you can imagine, I would have milked that considerably!

That would have been the biggest scandal since calciopoli. Ps didn't Poland beat Germany and Slovakia beat Spain? Doubt either of them were outside top 2 when each result occurred. We all know it's laughable , it's just sad that Wales have to be a beneficiary of the joke...
Nalis Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Its brilliant in my opinion considering Wales were the bottom seed for a campaign rather recently.
