Wymsey Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Anyone else thinking about not watching England tomorrow? Think we'll treat it like a friendly and just want 1 or 2 goals.
shen Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/italys-antonio-candreva-takes-dive-6379598 What an incredible dive from Candreva last night. Shocking It is scandalous, although not sure you can blame a whole nation for it

marko Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Can't even say that was a "brave" performance by the Scots! Highly unlikely we'll see all the home nations at Euro 2016 now.
StanSP Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 That was worse than Croatia yesterday against Azerbaijan. Scotland are horrible.
MC Prussian Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Can't even say that was a "brave" performance by the Scots! Highly unlikely we'll see all the home nations at Euro 2016 now. All is not lost for Scotland - but they'll have to fight for third place and then go the hard way by trying to survive in the playoff round. Or they could aim at finishing as the best third-placed team and qualify directly - but that's a very tough ask.
VLC86 Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Does the FT next to the Georgia Scotland match mean ****ing tremendous?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 September 2015 Author Posted 4 September 2015 Anyone else thinking about not watching England tomorrow? Think we'll treat it like a friendly and just want 1 or 2 goals. Nope. I've gone Vardy FGS 7-0 England
VLC86 Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Nope. I've gone Vardy FGS 7-0 England 7-0 Vardy only goal scorer more like.
Matt Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Can't even say that was a "brave" performance by the Scots! Highly unlikely we'll see all the home nations at Euro 2016 now. Good, i'd love all the home nations there barr Scotland (no pun intended). That was worse than Croatia yesterday against Azerbaijan. Scotland are horrible. Yes, yes they are.
Filbert_Ross Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Looking like Scotland are going to finally get the independence they crave at Euro2016.
Webbo Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Pleased for NI. After England they're my favourite home nation.
purpleronnie Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Looking like Scotland are going to finally get the independence they crave at Euro2016. They voted against it.

MC Prussian Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Great result for Northern Ireland and what a treat it'd be to see them in France next summer. Also, despite my allegiance with Leicester (just without the badge, mind) and my sympathies for Kasper Schmeichel, I was thrilled to see Albania clinging on to a 0-0 draw in Copenhagen. This puts them in a great position to finish second (they're third now with a game in hand, but have to play leaders Portugal next, though) or at least third. They're a tidy outfit and should be rewarded a place at the EURO 2016.
shen Posted 4 September 2015 Posted 4 September 2015 Schmeichel with one vital save in added time. Had literally nothing else to do but catch long clearances upfield. Fair play to Albania who fought like lions, but they were fortunate again. Surely their luck will run out against Portugal and Serbia...

With all the pre-match hype surrounding their performances, I was expecting some decent counter attacking football, but they posed no threat at all. Effectively playing 6-4-0 with a diamond midfield, that has to be the most negative football I have witnessed this year. They will be a horrible team to watch should they make it to the Euros.
