Guest Roper Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 tied with united in the league at this point..... "evident gap in quality" - on my stream. really? its not that big.
Captain... Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Quick check of match thread. Very embarrassing comments from some. What a surprise. I think I'll leave you too it.
trabuch Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 We could easily have no points after 5 matches - that wouldn't matter in the course of the season, but Nigel would have some morale building to do. And I believe he can do it. Our set pieces have improved by the way.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Drinkwater's injury concerning / good for Leo to get off the mark / Moore positive / De Laet needs help / Mahrez pretty poor. Still 45 left, 'mon then boys.
LCFC_Oak Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Set pieces will definitely be the key for us getting anything from this game. Everton can't defend them, but we need to take advantage.
weller54 Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 I'd settle for the score staying as it is.. Least it's not a hammering!!... If Everton get a quick 3rd we might get mauled!!!!!....
MHC Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 2-1 against a potential top 5 Premiership side? You're embarrassing mate! 38% possession? Not a top 5 side. Both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and arguably Tottenham are bigger. I'm not embarrassing, I'm embarrassed. We've got 45 minutes to get the result I, and most other fans expect, if that happens I'll admit I was wrong but I can't see it based on what I've seen so far. The amount of money I spend on supporting this football club gives me the right to expect results.
GeorgeTheFox Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 i dont think we've been too bad. lot of negativity here. definite lack of depth though. vardy would tear distin and jagielka a new one if he was playing
LCFC_Oak Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Bring Schlupp on up top to use his pace against Jags and Distin.

dorsetboy Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 tell ya what though with their fullbacks pushing right up this game was made for dyer
benpicko Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Mahrez and Knockaert need to sort out the passing
MozeyCo Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 I cant believe no one has commented about konchesky, this might be a revelation
LCFC_Oak Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Didnt even realise Barry was playing Have you seen any leicester midfielders breaking from midfield or getting the ball into Ulloa or Nuge's feet.. he plays a thankless role very well.

They are very capable of also finishing top 5 this season too and for you to call our first half performance embarrassing IS an embarrassing statement in itself. 2 top finishes. I am disappointed to be losing but i think we have made a reasonable account of ourselves considering the injuries and lack of quality on the bench. Tough 2nd half to come no doubt but not beyond us to score again and hopefully get something from the game!
JadeFalcon Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 ouf powerful standing header there shame it was off target
trabuch Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 King is looking v good and Ulloa should have scored. Positives.
benpicko Posted 16 August 2014 Posted 16 August 2014 Noticeable improvement this half I thin—and Knockaert trips over the ball
