Harry seems to be doing the best business so far in the transfer market out of the 3 that got up .?

It's all about their mentality, relegated players are losers and we want/need winners to stay up. Also their demands would be high as they will want to cash in and their abilities don't match.

So you are saying that if we get relegated, our players will be regarded as" losers"!

No he’s not stupid but he doesn’t appear to care about the potential long-term damage that his spending could do to QPR. There will be a reckoning, but when it comes Fernandes will be off like a shot.

Over the last couple of years QPR have spent a ton of money on players like Jermaine Jenas, Park Ji-Sung, Andy Johnson, Benni Asso-Akoto, Shaun Wright-Philips, and Bobby Zamora, Stephane Mbia, Luke Young and Aaron Hughes.

These are exactly the sort of “proven quality Premiership” players that some of our fans are asking for us to buy – but by and large can be considered failures because of the wages/transfer fees that QPR have had to shell out. Zamora cost £6m and has got 9 goals from 53 league games.

Any other manager would have been sacked – Pearson would have been horse-whipped had he bought these players to City.  But not Redknapp. Instead he’s just been allowed to write off all these bad transfers and is just doing the same thing over again - spending big money on another batch of 2006/07 “Premiership quality” players.

OK time will tell, but right now, who looks like they have a good transfer policy (clue: Mahrez, James, Drinkwater, Vardy); and who looks like they are spunking money up a wall (Clue: Jenas, Mbia, Johnson)?

If QPR finish above us this season it will because they have no financial constraints, an unhealthy risk appetite, and the owner has little consideration for the long-term future of his club.

That last paragraph ludicrous. If you can't see that, then you must either be drunk, or a complete nerd!

Because there's no way QPR can finish above us with that collective of crap?

'Arry post match on Talksport - "The squad obviously still needs a bit more quality...you've seen that today."

So the usual go-to solution for 'Arry - more players!

I don't get that. He's had all summer to bring in players, which he has. His players this time. So in other words certain players he has brought in aren't good enough?

As I said in the other thread(s), playing Ferdinand and Dunne together is ridiculous. Even I could beat those two. It's criminal. So is playing players that obviously don't want to be there, ala Remy. Has he ever performed for them?

So basically he wants to replace virtually every player they had last year. Did someone say cheque book manager?

Who else would he play, Ferdinand and Hill instead?

Would piss myself if Caulker got injured. 3 centre backs with the combined age of 105!!!!! Ha

I think QPR have recruited well on the whole - it was the decision to play 3-5-2 without anything like the right personnel that meant they took a hammering today. What was Harry thinking there?

QPR are a joke, just as they were last year. You can't possibly say they have bought well when they haven't a clue what their plan is. Leicester on the other hand appear to have arrived in the Prem with a plan and are executing on it.

Was he on a reported £120k at the end of his Utd contract?

I expect somewhere betweek £60-80k depending on bonuses. Obviously complete speculation but I can't see him dropping half his wages let alone more than that.

Rio is on £40k a week, but did take a very nice signing on bonus!

Stop sounding so sensible when we can have some more wild speculation flying around!

Haydos.. you start buddy..

I'll say it now, I don't completely believe him. If he's on £40k basic wage then he's earning another £20k for every appearance and taken home a few million for a signing on fee.

What's a senior role anyway? If he's not an agent, on the board of directors, Fernandes or Redknapp then how would he know what he's on?

I've said what I think, other people have said what they think. It's another one of those things where we just don't know. Pookie may well to but to us he's just some guy on the internet...
