MHC Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 That sir, is exactly why not forgetting QPR fan threads that dare to mention overspending city, or Harry buying left right n center, then with his so called talented squad, still begs and crys hes still short of talent. Transfer-gun happy Harry. He talks a good tactical game of club coaching management, then chokes on his actions. But hey, if I had, had his career, I wouldnt be unhappy.Probably many of us are a little disappointed he just didnt quite reach the top potential he promised, we are just short of of a large crop of English managers, and for a while he seemed the real Mccoy, after Venables, seems london boys enjoy playing the Dellboy scenario. Now lets start looking at, Bruce, Rodgers, Dyche and our own Mr Pearson to bring some class and excitement to our Englishless Premierleague. Rodgers is Northern Irish. I think Pearson will be a good shout for next England manager if the FA opt for an Englishman.
sylofox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Rodgers is Northern Irish. I think Pearson will be a good shout for next England manager if the FA opt for an Englishman. Not a chance NFP being the next England manager that is so lol He will need 3yrs in the prem min and time in Europe before they even look at NFP.

fuchsntf Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Pearson as England manager yes it would be funny... First I would like to see more British managers, then More English managers, and just because we havean era of more English/British managers in the PL doesnt mean everyone of them should be up for the England managers job. AS for Pearson nothing is beyond the realms .......but 1st he needs to build a reputation and history.Rodgers is NI but if his career follows a successfull and glorious path...I dont like foreigner as English managers, but top people from the home countries I am not against...but thats a point for the future
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 Wouldn't surprise me to see Redknapp leave. Another couple of defeats could see him gone.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 People laughing at Pearson being England manager Hodgson did nothing special as a prem manager
johnny the fox Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/qpr-manager-harry-redknapp-already-4105276 ridiculous.. just another 50 million and Arry has the makings of getting it right.
Corky Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 People laughing at Pearson being England manager Hodgson did nothing special as a prem manager I'd say taking Fulham from the bottom three to a European final in the space of two years is a pretty fine job.
Kitchandro Posted 25 August 2014 Posted 25 August 2014 I'd say taking Fulham from the bottom three to a European final in the space of two years is a pretty fine job. He also got Blackburn relegated.
legologo Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Maybe we should all appreciate and support the club, from the very top to the bottom. They have done us proud and from what I've seen this team is good enough to stay up without signings. Stop moaning and enjoy the ride. Trust nigel, after all, he got is here
fuchsntf Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Maybe we should all appreciate and support the club, from the very top to the bottom. They have done us proud and from what I've seen this team is good enough to stay up without 7signings. Stop moaning and enjoy the ride. Trust nigel, after all, he got is here hey we do have a lot of moaners and negative posters, but living out in Germany, If they didnt post their whinings, and stopped their negative whims, I would worry that my fair city has been wiped out, Leicester whingers are legends and help to build our characters, they help young kids get over monday morning harrowing and mature as men, learn that faith and belief does work. You see moaners and Mr negatives never have nice days to look forward to they eventually end up being proven wrong, they dr i nk beers they moan about, they only meet women they moan about, they have no hope of supporting a team cos according to their moaning they aint good enough, they go out and spend lots of money in a restaurant they never liked, when they are having sex their partners dont know if they are enyoying it, or just moaning again. so have some sympathy, these detectives of enjoyment cant feel no holes barred excitiCITY..!!!
Corky Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He seems to be confused as to how many players he's got.. Harry MathsSaid Harry Redknapp, in offering an excuse for QPR's slow terrible start to the season: "You don't get anywhere shouting and screaming at people. We only had 13 senior players at the start of pre-season, we needed to bring some new faces in quickly and we've done that well. I suppose the only way is up now."Mediawatch is intrigued by this mystical, mysterious unlucky 13 figure that Harry has pulled in defence of current under-performance. QPR's first day of pre-season was July 14th, as reported by the club's official site.At that time, the club's website reported the following players in the first-team squad: Brian Murphy, Rob Green, Julio Cesar, Gary O'Neil, Esteban Granero, Mo Shariff, Danny Simpson, Armand Traore, Clint Hill, Yun Suk-Young, Nedum Onuoha, Richard Dunne, Matt Phillips, Joey Barton, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Alejandro Faurlin, Karl Henry, Junior Hoilett, Adel Taarabt, Charlie Austin, Loic Remy and Bobby Zamora.Pick your 13 from those 22. But it's definitely the 'depleted' pre-season squad rather than the shonky 3-5-2 with the slowest central defenders available that's to blame. http://www.football365.com/mediawatch/9441038/The-Page-That-Is-Still-Waiting-In-Anticipation
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Not a chance NFP being the next England manager that is so lol He will need 3yrs in the prem min and time in Europe before they even look at NFP. Might not be far off that if Hodgson stays throughout the Euro's campaign?
oxford blue Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 QPR have spent more on other (2)players - £14m according to Sky, than the other promoted sides- and have also brought in a loan player and a free transfer (Ferdinand). Despite the their transfers (both ex- Cardiff players are good, especially Caulker), they're likely to struggle unless Austin can provide goals. They certainly weren't impressive in the second half of last season, till the last few games. The Mirror speculation isn't surprising given their performance at Spurs. A question - could anyone explain how the apparent FFP breaches last season will impact, if at all? PS I'm not sure this is the right forum for this, but I've just added further comments
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I have always liked QPR, and their fans, along with West Ham, and Leeds. Iv'e had some great times at their grounds over the past fifty plus years. Not so keen on Leeds nowadays, but the other two I still have a soft spot for, and I think 'Arry's a fab. geezer.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I always liken Loftus Road to Filbert St. One of those old grounds, full of history and really loud when it gets going. I think Redknapp's days are getting numbered though. Fernandes and the QPR faithful just about accepted them scraping promotion. But having now bought 'Arry's squad', they must compete this season or any patience that was left will rapidly dissolve.

According to football365.com They are looking to extend his contract as it's due up end of this season.

Very odd, obviously you don't sack someone after 2 games, but looking as bad as they have you start to consider it a possibility you will have to sack him to rescue your season why offer an extension now
Guest ttfn Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He also got Blackburn relegated. no he didn't!
The Doctor Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 He also got Blackburn relegated. you mean the season they finished 6th and made the UEFA cup?
Sir Shep Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I've disliked QPR since they became 'the richest club in the world' and have since then been a shining example of everything that is wrong with modern football. They are the footballing equivalent of a chav that won the lottery. Love this
Sir Shep Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 I'd rate Nigel Pearson as a potential England Manager, after all, Peter Taylor did it!
Master Fox Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Why are you morons talking about Nigel being England manager? He's way above international football. He's at the best club in England. Show some ambition.
lgfualol Posted 26 August 2014 Posted 26 August 2014 Di Maria would be good in the prem. Bet he will regret not having champions league for a couple seasons.
