James, I would've complained but I felt I couldn't. I was on my own. I had come down on my own on the coach and sat by myself with a load of other fans who I didn't know. I didn't want to get beaten up if I'm being honest. The fans near me were boisterous, as you'd expect. I know I should've and even as I was leaving the ground and walked passed several coppers I thought I could do it now or speak to a steward but I didn't. I quite honestly just wanted to go back on the coach and come home. When I did come home I ended up going for a walk for 3 hours to clear my head but all it did was make me play over the incidents over and over again and make me wish I'd said something.

Agreed, it's also technically racist. Dictionary definition being as follows:

'Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior:'

does personism exist then. as I believe I am superior to many on this planet.

Branislav Ivanovic had tackled a Leicester player rather aggressively and tried to con the ref by saying he didn't touch him. The ref have a free kick and a person sitting near me shouted, 'you ****ing foreign bastard'

Then towards the end of the game Willian was lying in the centre circle and I heard someone else, not the same person, shout, 'get up you ****ing wog'

I was, as I said stunned and appalled by this. I've never heard any remarks like this ever in football and thought I'd never hear it from my own fans. I've written to Chelsea, LCFC, the Premier League and also the FA. I want something done about this as to keep quiet would only let these racists win

When I was walking to the ground with the rest of our fans from the station, there was one lad who was shouting "you are a terrorist" and other racial abuse to every non-white Chelsea fan he saw. Pretty shocking and just makes me sigh. Worst thing is he was walking right next to the coppers who were escorting us and they didn't say or do anything.

Went to the game and thought our support throughout was amazing

Was disappointing not to find any videos anywhere of atmosphere or songs

Anyone have any?

There's a few on YouTube, just ensure you filter by uploads this month.

Good on you mate.

And I really wouldn’t beat yourself up about not doing anything about it at the time. By writing to the club and the FA you have done a lot more than most, and more than I would have done.  I bet there were loads of people around this moron who were going through the same thought process…  But it’s the Police’s responsibility to sort out these things, not yours. You did exactly the right thing as far as I can see.

I wonder how important our performance on Saturday (in front of Jose) was, re EC's decision to come here?

We showed we are technically very capable and a good home for an ageing great player. No way would EC have decided to come without asking JM's opinion. Have read before that he had indicated we were a good place to come but seeing us perform he way we did at the bridge can only have cemented those views.

Who decides? Not sure you can rank offensiveness of mere words. Offense lies with the offendee so either we report everything or we just try and educate people not to be dicks.

Nah don't agree with that. Calling someone “foreign” isn’t racist. I think you have to be careful about getting too politically correct about this.

Being ‘foreign’ doesn’t indicate any particular racial characteristic. It’s just an insult based on someone’s nationality, not their race. It’s no different from moaning about the Germans putting their beach towels out.

Lumping this in with someone using a truly horrible word like “w*g” really undermines the seriousness of this offence. The first bloke just needs a quiet word, the second needs banning for life.

As soon as Mahrez gets the ball he's looking to see where the space is and that's where he goes. His last look is clearly at the linesman, it's really really obvious. Painfully so. He looks directly at him.  I can't believe your even attempting to argue otherwise, if he wanted to see where Oscar was he'd  of looked behind him there is no reason why Oscar would be 90 degrees to his right.

Yeah you're right. Unfortunately I think that look at the linesman said a lot about Nugent's confidence. It's as if he was hoping he'd been flagged offside so he wouldn't have the pressure of making the shot. He got nailed for it on MoTD and rightfully so.

I think it would count under xenophobia more than anything but you're right in the way it doesn't quite stand up to the racial comments and a slightly lesser punishment is more suitable.

However how anyone from Leicester can comment on foreigners is beyond me, seems a tad ironic.

I still can't believe the state of Gary Taylor Fletcher when he came on.

Looked like he should be spending his Saturday afternoons in the Stamford Arms not Stamford Bridge.
