TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Great first half performance. Injuries will cost us this season unless we get reinforcements in.
purpleronnie Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Screw Chelsea, they have one of the best home records in world football and have one of the most expensive teams in the world, well done to Leicester, we're proud of you.
KFS Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Great first half performance. A few more faces with added quality and we'll be fine. The only way is up from here.
AKCJ Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 It's ****ing weird to think that Drinkwater and James won't just walk back into the team.
Onions Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Moore today showed us just how good he's going to be, unreal all game. Goal was just a mistake, two people get done by that dummy, but that's going to happen, and Nugent unlucky twice, we were quality and for a decent amount of it, we looked the better team. Can take so much positive from it.
Corky Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Wonderful away run of 13 unbeaten ended, failed to score for the first time since November and our midfield back ups enhanced their reputation. We created chances and they were worried. No need to be overly despondant. The squad should be looking stronger for next Sunday.
Stadt Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Well done boys good performance shame about the result
STUHILL Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Proud of how we played today. Shame about the second goal but we showed we are going to be no walkover this season for the top teams! Signings needed plz Nige!
Simmo86 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Happy with that. Need Drinky, James and Vardy back asap though. Horribly short of bodies.
mazzencfc Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 You guys played well, 2-0 was definitely flattering.
Brooksy Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Superb first half performance and if Nugent had scored that who knows what would have happened. Not many teams will get anything there anyway, we've done well today.
ozleicester Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Good effort, far from embarrassed and deserved a goal. we need a few players
m4DD0gg Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Great performance for the first hour and we should have taken the lead, there first goal was well scrappy and after that ramirez coming on closed the game off, 2nd was a deflection. The spirit and determination is there to see and Chelsea are going to finish in the top 2 so we did bloody well. Please please please nige get the cheque book out though.
The Doctor Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Realistically wanted to not be humiliated and to come out injury free. Humiliated - certainly not, we gave them one hell of a game and but for a couple of good saves by Courtois and a small moment of quality from Hazard it could easily have been a draw. Injuries though... we need a CM in sharpish. King looks like he'll take to this division like a duck to water, likewise Hammond actually, but with only King fit, we're woefully exposed if James, Drinky or Hammond are out for any length of time.
Nalis Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Screw Chelsea, they have one of the best home records in world football and have one of the most expensive teams in the world, well done to Leicester, we're proud of you. These never fail to make me laugh.
Webbo Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Can't argue with the result. Chelsea deserved it in the second half but we weren't disgraced, we gave them a game.
ousefox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Cracking performance. Nugent can't miss chances like that in the Prem though. Schlupp last week and Nugent this time. Can't afford to do that in the games that matter.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 As much as I dont like to say it, its a good result for us in terms off scorline aside, It shows more so than the Everton game that we can more than hold our own in this league. However, Nige really needs to dig in now and get a couple of replacements in during the next week, as we look ridiculously thin on the ground and its gotten to the point where one injury significantly weakens us as we have no one of quality to bring in. But, not disheartened by this at all. We were the better side in the first half, and had we taken a few chances we had, we would of gotten something from this.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of with that performance and result. We matched one of the worlds best sides for the whole game and if Nugent had scored his chances who knows what could have happened?
Leicester-Fox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 just shows you need to be clinical at this level - we had enough chances to win. A fantastic performance today from LCFC
Finnegan Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 It's ****ing weird to think that Drinkwater and James won't just walk back into the team. They really will.
Crinklyfox Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 City went at Chelsea without fear and gave them problems. We may not have the result we wanted but the performance was encouraging. Looking forward to the next one.
The Guvnor Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Great team performance, worried Chelski in the first half, who knows what may have happened if Nuge had scored.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 August 2014 Posted 23 August 2014 Put in a shift. I think we will be fine, because performances like that would beat half the teams in this league.
