whitlock Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Also sounds like Knockhaert was a threat and could be ready for a recall.... He wasn't.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Decent run about. Cambiasso (even though was against poor oppo) looked class. Simple passes, very vocal in organising players, constantly praising too. Timely interceptions and took his goal well. Marcin was his usually beastly self. Simpson was tidy, I think it was mentioned not to expect too much attacking threat from him but sound defending, looks true. Knocky didn't do too much. Drinky was his usual self, just getting match fit. James Pearson looked decent at LB in second half. Not bad to watch for £3. Did Cambiasso look good enough to get into the team against Stoke?
Stevosevic Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Knocky needs to pull his finger out, poor against Everton and not got a lookin since.
whitlock Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Did Cambiasso look good enough to get into the team against Stoke? Difficult to say really, it was only a second string MK Dons side. Camby (as all staff were calling him) played better than Drinkwater so...? I think he will be a much better option that playing Deano. Does the tidying up but also can pick a decent pass.

Sounds like exactly the type of player we needed. Excellent! I think he would of taken it a bit more seriously than Drinkwater as he has a point to prove but still sounds good! Carl the Llama Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Can't wait to tell my United 'supporting' friends about this one.
eastendfox Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Not a bad idea these friendlies featuring new signings, those not in the team, and those coming back from injury, do you reckon they could catch on? They could even organise a league, I don't know, call it something like the Football Combination.
Silverdaz Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 Also sounds like Knockhaert was a threat and could be ready for a recall.... Just no
Beliall Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 I didn't get it, just didn't want my pal to be cyber bullied. Aw shucks cheers buddy.

They could even have special nights to bring the family down, give some free tickets to local sports clubs and schools, maybe a quid or two entry. Roll out Filbert Fox and a bit of face painting, some cheerleaders. We could call it family night football or something like that...

lgfualol Posted 5 September 2014 Posted 5 September 2014 Good goals. Cambiasso just oozes cool. Cambiasso and Drinkwater might make a reallly deadly partnership.
Carl the Llama Posted 5 September 2014 Posted 5 September 2014 http://youtu.be/2yevMOoK1oY?list=UUBkRQtxofyXr09mWtgoUUqw The goals I know it's against MK Dons but Cambiasso certainly looked like he's still got the goods - a cute ball to Hopper for the 2nd and he does everything right in the move that eventually led to his goal: From his positioning on the pitch, to the 1-2 with Drinky, and the deft touch to finish it. Nice to see Albrighton notch one up at the end too.
Chug Laguna Posted 5 September 2014 Posted 5 September 2014 "The scoreline flattened the visitors" Even though we scored 4, hit the post 3 times and had about 8 chances saved Good thing we have international break. For re-inflation and all.
Eddie Big Balls Posted 5 September 2014 Posted 5 September 2014 Just a thought - if you beat MK Dons 4-0 and they beat us 4-0, does that mean you're gonna win 8-0 when you play us in a couple of weeks?
