Can someone please send me a direct message with how is the best way to set Leicester up to play with them. I want to know everything from formation to players and also all the bits about build up speed, chance creation, defense majorly and all in between. I really want to play as them but everytime I try it is like FIFA have made them ready to fail whatever I do. They always are out of position, always get in each others way, I get chipped over the back line for about 4 goals a game. They can't seem to ever make the pass I ask even if it is simple and they don't make any runs. I am really struggling with them and it is so annoying.

 

Also, can someone tell me the best way to set up so that when you are defending you can select the best player to control who has most chance of getting the ball. They either give me someone who isn't goal side and has no chance of getting the ball or even sometimes people who aren't even on the screen.

 

If someone in the know could do this for me I would be eternally grateful.

You may as well not bother they are underrated so all of the similar star teams you come up against are just too powerful.

First of all what is your playing style? Preferred formation?

Always stick to your playing style don't try to match someone in a game. Play in triangles and always shoot near post as 9/10 it goes in. Crosses are pointless too headers been toned down.

I use a very similar 5-3-2 with Cambiasso in for James. Otherwise the exact same team. It's the one that's worked the best for me with Leicester in a long time.

I really don't know what to do with them, I have tried all this.They never pass where I want them to and for some reason I can never seem to get control of the player I clearly need.

This says to me your settings aren't on assisted. Reset defaults and try again.

I played one season with them and got relegated. I only managed two draws. It was insane at how difficult it was to make them do anything. They were always really sluggish on the ball and whenever I passed it would be a long time before my player reacted and so usually he would get tackled. They seemed to love being out of position and easily chipped in defense and I cannot understand how with them I could never get the player I needed when trying to select one. I would press the change player button and it would constantly give me someone on the other side of the pitch.

 

It is a shame as I want to play as them but I also don't want to spend my time being frustrated.

Leicester aren't under rated on the game very much a fair playing field compared to players in the League. I've said it before I'm not over rating players due to other teams over rating theirs. Few people on this forum have agreed with me too on the matter.

I think the actual ratings are decent, although we do get screwed in terms of potential in career mode. I find Leicester very fun to play with, but since the potential of all our players suck there's no longevity in the squad.
