J.Lisemore Posted 13 May 2015 Posted 13 May 2015 Game play can be atrocious. Players make ridiculous movements off the ball, its so easy to punish mistakes. The game is far too reliant on pace still its so frustrating. Everything about playing FIFA is based on pace, its the stat everyone looks at, why? and 95% of the time goals go in at the near post, its so boring. Repeat over and over - fast winger, sprint inside or on the outside then shoot near post. Done. Its just not much fun anymore, I'd rather have a realistic 1-0 than an arcade type game. Running from kick-off just sums it up. Goalkeepers are useless on this, and I mean useless. If you check pretty much every replay, you'll see the keeper actually sees the ball but dives too late or makes a crappy motion which makes you think "f**k sake keeper." (Its weird. I understand this sounds like I'm describing a normal goal, I'm not). Career mode - transfers are a joke. I'm not asking for FM, just for it to be half decent. Stupid transfers - just limit them, it can't be that hard surely? Oh and the commentary, well. Played FIFA 08 the other day and I genuinely think the commentary was better on that. Have any details on FIFA16 been released yet? Needs some serious improvement. Shame there's no competition, may have forced EA to make a half decent game. See that's the thing, there is. Nobody gives PES a chance these days because in recent years they've been well behind EA, but this years, you ought to give it a try. Gameplay-wise, I enjoy it more than FIFA. Licence's will always be a big downfall with PES though unfortunately.

However I noticed a green tick next to Schlupp, Diouf and Dier after a game and after research, it meant an increase in player ratings. It is first time I came across it which seem to mean that they are rare- is that the case?

Nah thats just player development, if youre on career all young players have room to grow especially with good form and games. How the F did you get Pogba for free? I heard the modes are pretty much the same across the last couple of editions (glitches an all [your fault Ash]). You got lucky with them frees though still, I've not seen a one decent on Fifa 15.

I regularly come across them on 14- If I knew about them earlier then I could have take advantage of them and built my squad faster. I had a choice of Pogba, De Bruyne, Gotze (can't afford his wages in the end) and someone decent that I can't remember. I also signed Dier on free as well. I usually use all of my budget at start of the season then ask for the increase and pool it with cup earnings to get enough money to pay for their wages.
MrSpaM Posted 15 May 2015 Posted 15 May 2015 Finished my first proper season managing Leicester last night, didnt buy anybody at the start of the first season because it already had the current squad and finished 17th just sim'ing every match, beating relegation on the last game of the season by 1 point! Bought Mark Noble from West Ham, Mike Williamson from Newcastle and Huth on a permenant deal for the next season, actually doing ok about halfway through, sitting mid table, although Leo has just got an injury putting him out for the rest of the season

I think our only chance of getting one would have been if someone had scored a hatrick against Sunderland Has anyone picked up that mahrez card yet? Saw one on the market but wasnt quick enough to snap him up

Kasper vs. Burnley? Or at a push I suppose you could say Sunderland.
