dannythefox Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 to be honest, I just hate the thought of going through the transition of a new manager regardless of how well he knows/ knew the club. This is spot on all managers want there own players in etc so it would unsettled the side for good or bad who knows but on the other side he might get rid of the players that aren't you to it. Only problem with this is it takes longer than half a season.
Tuna Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Well Neil Lennon has only just taken over at Bolton. I know, It is unheard of a premiership team taking a championship teams manager months after they have been appointed, particularly when those teams are Bolton and Leicester.
Stevosevic Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Lennon would come here in a shot. He's only been at Bolton two minutes and hasn't even had a transfer window to build his own team. If a prem job came calling, in particular us, he would come.
Filbert_Ross Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 I know, It is unheard of a premiership team taking a championship teams manager months after they have been appointed, particularly when those teams are Bolton and Leicester. That's just made me google what the guys up to these days. According to Wiki not much.
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Just win some fvcking games, lads. I hate it when the manager's position is called into question, makes me nervous.
shailen Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 wot now Thats just a stupid remark i would rather support Ansty nomads than them sheep shaggers Making the statement I did was a reaction to how fans overreact on here. 5 games ago Pearson was untenable, and now there are question marks about him. He's taken us up twice and we've never had a terrible season with him in charge. These days, there is no patience and people think a quick fix in the form of a new manager will work.
I blame Wellens Posted 21 November 2014 Posted 21 November 2014 If things don't go well over the next few games and Pearson is sacked which I hope doesn't happen. I've just been watching time of our lives with muzzy matty and Walshy again. And it got me thinking would you be happy with a management team of Neil Lennon manager and a back room team of Garry Parker Gerry Taggart and Muzzy Izzet or the trusted hand of Tony Pullis?Give me strength

ronnup Posted 21 November 2014 Posted 21 November 2014 And if we get relegated we still have a great squad of players capable of strengthening and attacking the promotion push again. Cheer up.

Do you mean untouchable? Lose the next three and his position may become untenable.

NewquayFox Posted 21 November 2014 Posted 21 November 2014 Pearson will turn it around and he is here for a good while until he is appointed England manager.....
Monsell1976 Posted 21 November 2014 Posted 21 November 2014 Pearson will turn it around and he is here for a good while until he is appointed England manager..... now that's very optimistic, proving he can manage at the highest level first
Jace Posted 21 November 2014 Posted 21 November 2014 The funny thing is the way I see it the worse we do this season the more reason to stick with Pearson because if we go down who better to manage our current team next season in the Championship than him?
