Bluearmy 316 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 If things don't go well over the next few games and Pearson is sacked which I hope doesn't happen. I've just been watching time of our lives with muzzy matty and Walshy again. And it got me thinking would you be happy with a management team of Neil Lennon manager and a back room team of Garry Parker Gerry Taggart and Muzzy Izzet or the trusted hand of Tony Pullis?
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Has izzet coached anything other than kids?
Wilson_6 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Well Neil Lennon has only just taken over at Bolton.
Bluearmy 316 Posted 20 November 2014 Author Posted 20 November 2014 Surely if we made an approach Lennon would leave Bolton for us and muzzy has his coaching badges

I think appointing a management team on the basis that they were good players for us is plain stupid......... On sacking Pearson I am just hoping he picks up some points in the next few games and relieves the pressure somewhat, not trying to think of a replacement.
Wilson_6 Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 to be honest, I just hate the thought of going through the transition of a new manager regardless of how well he knows/ knew the club.
shailen Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 If things don't go well soon I may have to support Derby

Like I said I don't want Nigel sacked what so ever. I was just thinking would I really be about to get behind a manager like Pullis or would I be happier would a management team that has strong roots with the club and somebody who could be long term
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 If things don't go well soon I may have to support Derby wot
roger the dodger Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 If things don't go well soon I may have to support Derby now Thats just a stupid remark i would rather support Ansty nomads than them sheep shaggers
suffolk fox Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 I generally feel that between now and Xmas will define whether or not we can stay in this league. We certainly have at least three classic six pointers against, Sunderland, Qpr and Villa. Get nowt from them three and I believe relegation will be a certainty. I pray and hope we can at least show some attacking prowess and at the very least give it a bloody go something I have been crying out for since the United game.
lgfualol Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Already got Southampton (unless they go out of top 4) and Barcelona as my backups if we go down.
Fox Ulike Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 now Thats just a stupid remark i would rather support Ansty nomads than them sheep shaggers Good idea I think I'll join you. Nomads are away at Kimberley Miner's Welfare on Saturday. This is the sort of game we should be winning. Unfortunately I don't think Nomads signed enough East-Midlands-Counties-League quality players in the Summer. The problem is clearly that Nomads Manager Rob Harris can't handle big names. He's got to go. At this rate we should go and support Victoria Park FC.

MooseBreath Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 Manager: Jon Stevenson Right hand man: Andy Impey Left hand man: David Oldfield Head Coach: Gareth Williams In a diamond formation, please.

I do like your positive, realistic and steadfast outlook on life. Three games from now, we still won't even be halfway through the season - I wonder how some folks like you can come to the conclusion we'll already be relegated by then. Keep that wit coming.
reynard Posted 20 November 2014 Posted 20 November 2014 I do like your positive, realistic and steadfast outlook on life. Three games from now, we still won't even be halfway through the season - I wonder how some folks like you can come to the conclusion we'll already be relegated by then. Keep that wit coming. Obviously you are correct but if we don't get say 5 points from those three I think the probability is that we will struggle to not be bottom at Christmas. West Ham away and Liverpool and Man City at home don't look like giving us much of a return. In all likelihood we need another 30 points to stay up. That's 10 wins or say 9 wins and 3 draws. Our away form is terrible. If we don't win on Saturday the number of winnable looking matches goes down meaning we would have to outperform again against one of the bigger/better sides. Not impossible of course. Let's see how we do on Saturday. However, if we play as negatively as we have done since half time against Burnley we may as well pack up now.
