Great to see him influencing a game like he did. No coincidence that he had his best game of the season playing in the middle, rather than isolated out wide in that ridiculous diamond.

If he had passed you would have moaned that he didnt shoot. I say fair play and keep shooting if you get into them situations and he will get a few goals over the course of the season.

Really hope he carries it on, he will score soon I bet. Still had more shots in one game than Ulloa and Nugent since Man U.

ScouseFox Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 from the highlights it seemed he made both chances pretty much out of nothing so pretty harsh to completely ruin him just cos he didn't score. second effort was a bit weak and one you'd hope he'd score more than he'd miss but never mind.

To be honest he couldn't have done much more with the first effort, second one was weak but you have to credit the 1-2.
Guest MattP Posted 24 November 2014 Posted 24 November 2014 I think he's the sort of player who needs to put his foot through the ball instead of trying to place it. As for King comparisons, he wouldn't have driven forward into those positions and his finishing this season has been very poor.

Drinkwater looks lost I'd bet my life if DD had played on Sat in his natural position right in the middle, rather than on the right of a diamond he'd have had a good game too. James had his best game of the season Sat because he was somewhere he could influence the game. I still think DD and James are our best option if we are 442
