VLC86 Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 When was the second time? Are you referring to the end of Leicester Fosse and so on? Errmmm yes yes exactly
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 We'll just have to wait and see. I have no idea.
LCFC Rennie Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 You really wish another team went through this? As for never being a stable club? We have gone into administration twice, people in glass houses..... I lived in Hull for 2 years. Developed a hatred for them that you probably don't understand, and as for us going into administration, it was horrible at the time however I enjoyed league 1.
Babylon Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Take off the amount we "paid" in interest off the last losses, what we pay for the youth setup, the squad revaluation that took place on the last a counts, a £20m fine would be a bit baffling. < £10m maybe.
davieG Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 If City had failed the guidelines, they would be notified that they would now face sanctions, but no such communication has been received. Leicester City are confident they will not be hit with a huge fine for failing Financial Fair Play rules. Reports yesterday suggested City were braced for a fine, which could be as high as £20 million, for over-spending during last season's Championship title charge. However, the Mercury understands City's submission, which had to be in by the start of this month, is compliant with the Financial Fair Play rulings and the club has not received any notification from the Football League that they have failed to meet the criteria of FFP. If City had failed the guidelines, they would be notified that they would now face sanctions, but no such communication has been received. The report suggests nine Championship clubs are facing possible sanctions. QPR are facing a £30 million fine for funding their promotion push, while Blackburn, Nottingham Forest, Bolton, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Middlesborough and Leeds face transfer embargoes. MrSpaM Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Dread to think how much QPR are going to get fined if a team that was supposedly in line with FFP is getting fined 20 million?!?
Babylon Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Dread to think how much QPR are going to get fined if a team that was supposedly in line with FFP is getting fined 20 million?!? A gazillion.
davieG Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Dread to think how much QPR are going to get fined if a team that was supposedly in line with FFP is getting fined 20 million?!? We'll never know as it will be delivered in a brown paper bag.
Tommy G Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Their financial dept will have a running monthly idea if they are in line with FFP, the FD will have a dotted line to Susan Whelan and the board and such communication would be on the top of any board minutes you'd assume. SW would face a media circus if we haven't been in line given the fact she has come out and said we are in line with FFP. I wouldnt worry about it.
Babylon Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 We'll never know as it will be delivered in a brown paper bag. Through a car window.
MC Prussian Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Any business receiving a £20million fine is going to make the news. Allegedly. And "up to £20m". You can print anything these days. They could've even gone for "up to £100m" and it would've sold, as well.
MC Prussian Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Hopefully this is a load of old tosh. It's more than that - it's a big pile of very, very old tosh. I'm surprised the Fail hasn't jumped on the fan incident story that much instead.
davieG Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest will all have a transfer ban for the January window after breaching the Football League’s financial fair play (FFP) rules. The League announced that the three clubs all incurred financial losses more than the £8m permitted during last season. Submissions from QPR, Leicester and Burnley - who were all promoted to the Premier League - plus the three clubs relegated last season will now be considered by the Football League.
hackneyfox Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Howong does it take for us to be considered?
Raj Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 This could be like a badge of honour...you know like kids who have asbos and its like yeah man Dont fook....we cld breach ffs...we are massive.... Cld be...or Im talking shit?!!!
MC Prussian Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 How can Burnley possibly fail FFP?Well, aren't they just starting to look at the three newly-promoted submissions now? That's about all I can take out of that article.
The Doctor Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 How can Burnley possibly fail FFP? Sean Dyche got a multi-million pound gravel bowl for gargling before matches. Like a stupider version of Peter Ridsdales fish.
Jace Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 How can Burnley possibly fail FFP? They're shit, they've got no fans, they got no ground
indierich06 Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 We're not part of the Football League any more, don't see how our accounts are any of their ****ing business to be honest.
DB11 Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 We're not part of the Football League any more, don't see how our accounts are any of their ****ing business to be honest. Because the way things are going we'd quite like to be accepted by them again next season and not have to drop to the Conference..
LCFC Rennie Posted 15 December 2014 Posted 15 December 2014 Forest aren't aloud to buy any players in January.
