That has to be it. Pearson needs to go.

Tell you what, i could so easily get involved in this debate, because i have strong views, but to be honest, i can`t be arsed to argue the point anymore.

Nothing is going to make any difference now anyway.

Much as it hurts me to say it, i think that today, although not mathematically, i think we were relegated.

I just don`t see where our next league win is coming from.

Pearson hasn`t showed me any signs of him coming to terms with this division, but i have to say, that even if we get rid of Pearson , i think it`s too late now to make enough of a difference.

For me, this is more of a debate to have at the end of the season, after our likely relegation.

Of course, I already know the pro Pearson fans will say, "we have to keep big Nige, despite his failure and our relegation, because he knows the championship, and will get us back up again".

I`m actually beginning to think that Pearson is some kind of cult leader, and has brainwashed some of our fans, so that they will follow him unconditionally, no matter how bad things get!

this is very true tbf

So because other people can't finish its Nugents fault and for the last time I have acknowledged his failing in front of goal lol

I don't think I've said anywhere I don't want Kramaric to play

you said who do you drop him for then leapt to the defence of David Nugent like he was irreplaceable, if your content with nearly had a goal strikers then no doubt his your man

Vardy lol

Vardy somehow has fewer goals than Nugent and fewer good performances than Ulloa which is an astonishing feat lol

Vardy shouldn't even be getting off the bench if you ask me.

How Vardy is even on the bench is beyond me. There are youth team players, or the likes of bloody Lawrence, who I'd give a go before him. Sometimes you're better off with unknown quantities than sure-fire failures.

difficult one smudger..there are lots on here that have said keep pearson as he will get us back up...but then what ? back in the premier struggling from week to week...i dont dislike the bloke but he's out of his depth for me AND some of his tactics/team selections and substituitons have been very poor

He's one of our most-played players this season. He's just crap.

This.

No excuses now. That was a dire result, and we blunder on like headless chickens, with a headless "cock"  in charge of them.

Time to show Pearson the door. Better late than never.

I don't see you can hide from it any more. He obviously should have gone ages ago. If we ever want to be an established Premier League side, he's clearly not going to be the manager to achieve it. So, yeah, just get rid of him now.

As I've asked who are we dropping for Kramaric, people are  being awfully quiet.

Nugent. Anyone, really.

He's just spent about £10m on him, how can you excuse leaving him on the bench in such a vital game?

Fvcking anyone. Cant stand this clown any longer.

The moment was months ago. If you can't see that you're just being stubborn, surely. I backed him then and I shouldn't have.

The question is whether there's anything to be gained by sacking him now? Well, we're still in with a shout of staying up, even with upcoming fixtures, but there's clearly next to no hope of doing it with Pearson. And, bearing in mind our eventual aim is to be established at this level and he's not going to be the man, yes, I'd say it still makes sense to move him on.

If we stay up he'll still go down as having been a very good manager, maybe that's what his staunchest supporters should take from this. Because we're not going to do it with him in charge.

I find the opinion he should be taking Nugents position as somewhat odd, he's a goalscorer. Not someone we wont pissing around playing deep.

Well let's play two up front then.

Duh.

You're right, the moment was months ago. Unfortunately the people that mattered didnt see what some of us on here have seen for quite some time now.

He's just not up to it. The problem with people rationalising him staying with 'just 3 points from safety' is we're only 3 points from safety despite Pearson not because of him. Other teams just wont pull away. Pearson has shown no signs of being able to get us out of this despite the poor standard of teams around us.

If we got rid now and had the new manager bounce, combined with our run in, we could get out of it. If we keep on with Nige and all of his bullshit, we will be relegated.

Only we would go and spend 9 million on a player, sitting bottom of the league, and not start him.

Totally clueless.

Pointless signing the guy in the first place if this is the case. Just what was the point?

It's definitely a one way or the other thing. With 9m to spend, if you spend it on one man and don't play him then either the transfer wasn't the right one or the team selection wasn't the right one. People will say 'what if he goes on to score the goals that keep us up later in the season ?', I know, but we lost today, failed to score for the second time that we've left Kramaric on the bench in three league games, and time is running out. We can only go on what we've seen, and what we've seen is a game in which the money we spent on boosting our survival charge has been left on the bench.

There has to be a time when we say that, on balance, our manager has got team selection, transfer policy and the tactical / coaching side of things comprehensively wrong this season.

No **** Sherlock.

If Pearson gets dealt with by the FA for the Incident I could possibly see a sacking coming with the owners thinking he's finally lost the plot...
