Lambert09 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Weirdly I sat near Pearson today. He didn't flinch or make any kind of reaction to anything going on, including Konch's red. Bizarre Not necessarily a bad thing, his calmness can spread to the players. No point having a tantrum, doesnt get you anywhere.
Dickov22 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Not necessarily a bad thing, his calmness can spread to the players. No point having a tantrum, doesnt get you anywhere. Nah I wouldn't say it's good or bad really. Just find it strange how he can remain so calm
stevebrock Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 the bloke has no ****ing emotion - he is just waiting for the big cheque
cityfanlee23 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Probably something of nothing but checked the bookies the other day for manager prices and Lennon didn't have one... He's now 6/1 fav on odds checker.... Would like him here. Having followed Celtic for years due to my ex being a fan and having seen them probably 10x a season when I was going up there, I like the style he has teams playing, Bolton who were a lost cause under freedman have been playing really well since he came.
fox in the sox Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Pearson may have been advised to keep calm following his health issues last season.
Dickov22 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 the bloke has no ****ing emotion - he is just waiting for the big cheque Watch a few of the tunnel cams back on the official site and then say Pearson has no emotion. It's simply not true
surrifox Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 the saying is "never go back" I believe . I don't want Lennon here, he represents a glorious part of our past and I don't want to see his legacy spoiled by a disastrous spell of management which is what I fear. Back in the day I signed a petition outside the ground to get Jimmy Bloomfield booted out (I'm still ashamed) , he was replaced by McLintock a former city hero - forget Holloway , Ericsson , Megson and any other of the failures of recent times - McLintock's tenure in terms of hubris, disappointment, broken dreams and sheer humiliation at how rubbish we became probably eclipses them all in terms of how badly the wheels came off
Outfox the Fox Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Can't see Lennon leaving after such a short time at Bolton. According to a mate on the Bolton Evening News, Lennon negotiated a clause in his contract, which allows him to move to a Premier club without a period of notice and only limited compensation for Bolton. He'd heard that Lennon only took the Bolton job, on condition he could go if a better job came up.
Guest MattP Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 The bloke who could barely win a trophy a season in Scotland even with a dead Rangers? No thanks.
Kingy_85 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 It was a doll, pull the string on the back like Woody from toy story and it says "**** of and diiiie", rather than "reach for the skyyyyy". brill! haha
Jace Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Don't want to start a new thread but a couple of people have said theres a press conference at the King Power at 3pm apparently Pearsons gone no idea how credible it is though
ARTY_FOX Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Don't want to start a new thread but a couple of people have said theres a press conference at the King Power at 3pm apparently Pearsons gone no idea how credible it is though Nothing has been said on skysports news about one yet but I heard the same

Jace Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Seen a few posts pop up on my feed about this too in the past hour Yeah I'm thinking its bullshit at the moment usually the news breaks straight away when it happens rather than a press conference
ARTY_FOX Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 It's just popped up that the fa have contacted the club over Pearsons comments to the fan after he refused to apologise. So if there is one itll probly be about that
Fox Ulike Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Don't want to start a new thread but a couple of people have said theres a press conference at the King Power at 3pm apparently Pearsons gone no idea how credible it is though Not very. Clubs don't tend to arrange Press conferences to announce they've sacked a manager.

Rhysm Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Pulis is the only person I would get rid of Nige for. Although I hate his football he seems to know what it takes to keep a team up. Lennon would be a huge gamble with zero experience of a struggling side and zero experience of premier football.

Wouldnt be surprised if Lenny was a cheaper alternative to Pearson if we get relegated....
Bettsj2 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 If Lennon replaced Pearson and we were still relegated, there would be much less ill feeling toward Lennon than there would be if Pulis was in charge.
wight88 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 Ahoy! Ahoy! Len see a sty. Ahoy! Ahoy! Barman and soda.
