Harry - LCFC Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 Germany certainly aren't my second team but I don't see them as rivals anymore. The whole basis for seeing them that way seems a bit out of date now. Plus they're a good footballing country - something that's recognised by a great many British fans now. Unless you identify with two countries through joint nationality I don't see how you can have a second team at international level.

I have been to both away fixtures and there was more hatred at Scotland than when we beat Germany, the only thing at Germany was the 10 german bombers song and a couple of QPR fans with a huge swastika.
Dan Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 I've got to admit I don't feel a burning hatred for any other international side. Not even Argentina. Would probably be different if I went to England games.
Riot Van Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 West Brom at the bottom yet were the loudest at the KP so far this year.....
Basingstoke Fox Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 To be honest, as an overall fanbase, we do mainly sing when we're winning, something which I don't like at all. Needless to say that's why we haven't been all that during this season. When we do get going though, we can be pretty bloody good.

We have more than enough football rivalry with Germany to make them number one even without mentioning the war to be fair. 1966 final 1970 comeback 1990 penalties 1996 penalties probably stopping us winning tournament. Them winning last game at Wembley Our 5-1 at their place The 4-1 in 2010. We'd be strong rivals now even if we hadn't had the wars. . The Argies can **** off though. They started so we'll finish. Cnuts.
Dan Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 West Brom at the bottom yet were the loudest at the KP so far this year..... What?!
LCFC Rennie Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 Best fans at Leicester this year were either Everton or United. Liverpool and city were wank.
LCFCFOX6190 Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 Hardly surprising, our away support is pretty poor (in terms of atmosphere)
1993fox Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 The Argies can **** off though. They started so we'll finish. Cnuts. Depends on who you speak to. Some may say we started it by taking the Falklands despite it being so far from us during a time when Argentina just declared independence.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 I don't consider Germany as our main rivals yeah I don't like them but put it this way if Germany were playing the Scots then yeah I'd want the germans to win, i think Scotland and Republic Of Ireland are much more our bitter rivals these days.
Stadt Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 Best fans at Leicester this year were either Everton or United. Liverpool and city were wank.Everton were average, Burnley were probably the best I thought
ARTY_FOX Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 Ironically the Germans tend to be big fans of England, bars were always busy when we played why I lived there
1993fox Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 City were loud. Wasn't happy to hear us sing 'where were you when you were shit' chants when they had 25k+ weekly in maine road in their league one days
LCFC Rennie Posted 19 December 2014 Posted 19 December 2014 City were loud. I thought they were terrible.
Vlad the Fox Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 The away support has been shit this season, I've been massively disappointed by all the teams who have attended the KP. Is this due to ticket prices freezing out the more traditional vocal support?
BlueSi13 Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 Depends on who you speak to. Some may say we started it by taking the Falklands despite it being so far from us during a time when Argentina just declared independence. Brainwashed Argies then? The Falkland Islands have been UK territory long before Argentina existed as a nation. As for being so far from us, what does it matter? The Faroe Islands are closer to us than the Falkland Islands are to Argentina...do the Faroes belong to us in that case?
Guest MattP Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 Depends on who you speak to. Some may say we started it by taking the Falklands despite it being so far from us during a time when Argentina just declared independence. Yet it took them 150 years to notice? The blame us argument slightly falls down on that point. The people of the Falklands want to remain British and they shall do.
Out Foxed Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 I'd rather have my cock cut off than ever want Germany to win why? Germany are like a better version of England, as a country and football team. Don't be a little englander island monkey.
BlueSi13 Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 why? Germany are like a better version of England, as a country and football team. Don't be a little englander island monkey. :xmaslaugh: Having lived in Germany that is simply not correct. It has it's good and bad points for sure. This hipster Germany bumming is getting a bit dull now.
Grewks Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 Stopped reading once I read "Liverpool fans voted Gary Neville ahead of Jamie Carragher as top pundit". Sure they did...Maybe they also voted for George Best ahead of Kenny Daglish for home-grown footballing legend?? And possibly Frank Lampard as best midfielder of the last decade
