What's your opinions of him so far? For me he's exceptional. I always knew he was a great manager before coming to England but he has done a lot better than I expected so far. Took him a while to get going but United seem certain for a top 4 finish. Love his interviews too and has that respect and authority that Moyes never had. Yes i love louis!

He's spent a shit load of cash on a team that won the title not long ago. Finishing in the top four is the minimum of what I would expect from him.

I think he's got his head screwed on and he's quite funny at times, but you've got to expect to be around the top with that kind of outlay.

I do respect how much of a chance he gives to youngsters. He's outstanding in that department, regardless of what you think of Tyler Blackett.

I've seen them 2/3 times in the last month or so, they've won each game but they've been fairly diabolical.

Don't know what it is, but they seem to be able to grind results out. Suppose it's the benefit of having players like Rooney, RVP and Mata up top, doesn't matter what shit you have behind them you know you're going to get goals.

Helps that De Gea is the best performing keeper in the world right now too.

Has he though? Di maria and falcao. Both haven't been playing much recently due to injuries. Blind is injured. The team is the same as last season with more youngsters.

Yes he has. Plus, as already stated the players already here from previous seasons are hardly a bag of shit either. With 9 title winner in this country or Spain against Hull. Yeah he's had to chuck a few kids in, bit their squad is still better than anyone outside the top 4 by a mile.

D de Gea - Title Winner

A Young - Title Winner

L Valencia - Title Winner

C Smalling - Title Winner

M Rojo

M Carrick - Title Winner

M Fellaini

J Mata  - Title Winner

R van Persie - Title Winner

W Rooney - Title Winner

A Di Maria - Title Winner (Spain)

(R Falcao, 70),

(A Herrera, 14)

Doing about as well as you'd expect with a side full of world class footballers, profiting from Liverpool falling to pieces.

Okay so van gaal isn't a great manager in your opinion!

Where did I say that, why are you trying to twist things?

He has previously shown himself to be a great manager, so far he's showing himself to be decent manager at United. It will take more than getting a team full of title winners to 3rd before I can say he's doing a GREAT job.

He's done what's expected given money spent. His real challenge will be trying to win a league though.

I think he's doing exactly what Moyes should have done, I'd say he's probably the second best manager in the league.

£150m was the total mentioned on Radio 5 this morning. (Man U summer spending.)

Hasn't impressed me really. Spent £150 million without building a defence. If you spent that money then obviously you're going to improve. Moyes was grilled, but should have been given more time IMO.

been alright but clearly benefitting from arsenal's liverpool's and whoever else's worst ever starts ever to make his job seem a bit more reasonable

I like him, I think it's swayed by the post match interview after our match where he didn't point out the penalty and bang on about it like Warnock would've done. He seems like he detests the media, which is fine as I'm sure they would love him to fail.

Man United are far better to watch than under Moyes, too.

He's inherited a strong side and spent more money than anyone else in the summer window and has no European football to worry about.

It's way too early to say he's done a good job.
