Positivity Thread - Reasons why we CAN stay up...

Recommended Posts

We haven't been thrashed by anybody yet, which suggests we aren't far off.

Kramaric could potentially be class.

There are at least three teams who are inferior to us, man for man.

Pearson tends to sign well, even in January.

He will be backed financially, as has already been shown.

We have a relatively kind run-in.

West Brom, QPR and Burnley do not.

We traditionally end seasons well under Pearson.

The Premier league isn't particularly strong, plenty of poor sides down there with us. Another 20pts gives us a huge chance of staying up.

Us picking up as much as another 20 points would be nothing short of miraculous.

I can't be the only one who glanced at that and thought that Vardy's leg was Wasyl's massive cock?

I think that's King, but yes Was is so tough he has King(or Vardy)'s shin as a c0ck.

Is that new boy Krama on the right? I like how the bench creates an arrow pointing to his bulge.. Same for Nuge

Positives:

It's only 3pts

We all know we do have it in us to beat anyone ala Man U

Kramaric

Trying to be positive.

16 games left

6 wins, 2 draws 8 defeats gives us another 20 pts which might keep us up, I know it's a big ask as we only have 4 wins from 22 games but quoting from Shawshank Redemption "hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things"

Posted

1. We have a solid defence after strengthening in the TM

2. We have a solid midfield with some quality distributers of the ball after strenghtening in the TM

3. We don't have £20m of strikers on the bench with another £10m worth on his way in the next week.

20 points from the last few games is a stretch, but not impossible.

We have Palace, Newcastle, Hull and QPR at home between now and May. Not to mention Burnley and Sunderland away. Lob in a couple of draws here and there and we might not be all that far off.

Burnley, Villa, Everton and Sunderland - the remaining dross of the league. From our 4 home games against them just 1 win and only 6 points.

Newcastle, QPR, Villa, Hull away games - 3 points.

Heartbreaking really, but we are in too much of a tangle now. By the time we've done the run of all the top teams there just won't be enough games left.

However we are doing positivity and reasons why we CAN stay up so:

1 - It's still mathematically possible so yes we still can stay up.

2 - We still have 10 days of the window left.

3 - One or two players finding some good form can make a world of difference.

4 - Krammy may yet turn out to be Messi and Ronaldo's lovechild, at least for 4 months.

Villa are Poor

Hull City are Poor

QPR are Poor

We haven't been tonked yet, so we are (Pearsons fav word) COMPETITVE.

36 points could be enough, and if we can a bit of home form going against those around us, it could be our salvation.

We've put the most 'clear cut' chances off target (14) of any teams in the Premier League.

With Kramaric signing, the sort of chances we're creating and his conversion rate goals are likely to come by more often than they have been.

We'll never see the diamond again (hopefully)

Some really good points being made, my spirits have been raised!

Because NP and the team will want to give a massive 'fvck you' to so-called 'fans' like this, who seem to take more pleasure in us struggling than they do us succeeding.

What! You don't believe me? All those nice things I said, and you're throwing your toys out of your pram. Having tantrums sonny, wont get you anywhere.  :nono:  :nono:

We have the players, a couple of others would be a bonus,

Just need Saint Nig 'e to pick the best 11+ and forget about sentiment and trying to outwit other teams.

Needs to be dynamic and think like a new manager, Sclupp better at left back? do it. Moore better at right back? Cambiasso and A N other midfield. Would the team would feel better protected with the highly experienced Schwarzer?, Hamer has done 'alright'. Play Ulloa regardless of the opposition, why all this of leaving him out because we need pace or he will create a hoof ball game, don't the team and coaches talk? Carroll at West Ham

Because, as some wise men in pen 2 used to chant at times like this.. the league is upside down. And because we have Was to lead Leicester's Haka.

Winnable run-in

Players coming back from injury

Kramaric

Being written off and playing as underdogs

And most of all - we are only 3 points off safety FFS it wouldn't even be the great escape

To ALL Foxes supporters let me give you the run down on Our Team.

As a supporter since 1957 I have been able to watch some great City Teams.

The "Doog" "Banks" "Davey Gibson" "Weller" "Arthur Rowley" "Hogg" etc.

No disrespect to "Mr Pearson" but when I saw him laughing at the end of the stoke game "I Felt Sick".

I would love to pick holes in the team individualy, but I will put that aside?

But here is a tip to our manager.

Maybe instead of buying forwards like they are going out of fashion.

Mr Pearson might concentrate on the real problem.

It's called "Defence"

That's right Nigel and being an x defender yourself I am suprised you have missed the point.

In "ANY SPORT" your attack starts from your defending.

If the other team can't score there is a better chance you will.

All great teams have a General, a Bully, someone with Gritt and a bit of skill helps??

Man City have "Torre" Man Utd had "Kean" Arsenal had "Viera"

We have??????

Here's a tip Mr Pearson. Being a nice guy is not what we need.

We need you to think outside the square.

You had a system that got results last year 4 x 4 x 2 why did you change???

I doubt you are getting any more players in before the Transfere window closes.

So this might help.

Keeper: Schwarzer" untill Shmicel gets back

Defenders: Simpson* Morgan * De Laet

Link play : King *

Middle: Schlupp *  Nugent * Knockardt

Link: Drinkwater

Forwards; Ulloa & New Boy

This formation is 3 * 1 * 3 *1 * 2

This means thatat any given time Sclupp or Knockardt are either up in attack, back in defence or in Midfield.

This formation converts to a 4 x 4 x 2 or a 3 x 5 x 2 easily.

Just a thought.

Thats a 3-5-2 with a 5-person diamond and only one centre back? Not convinced. Plus, if you're playing that, swap Nugent with Drinkwater at least, Nugent as a CM?I give you its out of the box, but that is not going to strengthen our defence and make us sold........
