Raj Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Staying up FFS look at Wigan - League One next season after a procession of useless managers !!!some would say our most entertaining season was in LG1.Its not all about Premier league...ask Bradford fans tonight if they'd swap today for a year in the Prem gettin whipped weekly
Guest Bilo Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Is it all the oldies (including me) who would chose the cup? I'm saying cup without a moment's hesitation and I'm 30.
Guest Bilo Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I'd take a place in the final over safety. We've had plenty of promotions and relegations We'd have to win it rather than just make the final. Pretty much all the clubs who'd go into the Champions League instead are out.
Max Power Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Staying up FFS look at Wigan - League One next season after a procession of useless managers !!! The game is about glory! I'm sure Villa fans are loving their last few seasons of tedious safety in the Barclay's Premier League.
Mayofox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 It's Leicester City, we'll only do this once, the Cup of course. In the league, if we go down we'll bounce back.
Grewks Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Cup - If no Europa League. If we get relegated and still have the europa league, i would seriously send the youth team to every away game and save our players legs for the championship.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 The game is about glory! I'm sure Villa fans are loving their last few seasons of tedious safety in the Barclay's Premier League. I'd take that over another 10 tedious years of the Championship!
Raj Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I'd take that over another 10 tedious years of the Championship!we had one in LG1!!!!!!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 we had one in LG1!!!!!! Sssshhh I'm trying to forget it
Raj Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Sssshhh I'm trying to forget it you'd NEVER forget winning the FA Cup brother!!!!Wink wink
Tom's Pasta Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Winning the cup, the important word here is 'winning'. Avoiding relegation isn't winning anything.
ousefox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Really tough for me given I've hardly seen us in the prem. Still probably go cup. Just.
Tom17LCFC Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 people seriously choosing staying up and the same old games next year over a summers trip to wembley with 40,000 leicester fans followed by trips to prague, zagreb, lille etc. next year?
Renart Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Winning the cup would have the edge taken off it if we were relegated a week later/earlier. Don't get me wrong, winning the FA Cup would be better than staying up. But if we're going to win it I'd prefer it to be as perfect a moment as we always imagined. I don't want us and other people to think about relegation every time we think of our greatest moment. So, reluctantly, I'd say survival. I don't know..... I would love us to win the FA Cup (tingles by just saying it) but I think Kitchandro has a point! I don't want to do it in a season where we are relegated. I want it all, and I want to enjoy it without there being a trade off. I abstain from this vote.
Benji Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Survival. If you manage to establish yourself as a premier league side for five years you're going to get chances to win it again in that time.
IOWFOX Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Survival. If you manage to establish yourself as a premier league side for five years you're going to get chances to win it again in that time. NEWCASTLE! Established premier league team, havent made the 4th round in years! Cup every time, no brainer.
Guest MattP Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 The cup of course. Who remembers finishing 16th in 20 years?
dogadug Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 Sorry but I can't see why anyone would choose staying up over winning the cup?
iamafox Posted 24 January 2015 Posted 24 January 2015 I wouldn't want to sacrifice 10 years of hard work getting back to the PL and spending just one season there in favour of winning the FA Cup.
