sylofox Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 Excuse me for being a bit thick. But who does Nobody Else play for? What nationality is he? Dutch by any chance? Any idea what he will cost?
Gary Eatfood Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 Excuse me for being a bit thick. But who does Nobody Else play for? What nationality is he? Dutch by any chance? Any idea what he will cost? He isn't a left back or centre mid so it's all a double negative really.
Guest Cujek Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 If we let Wood go surely a replacement is likely, can't see us wanting to rely on Nugent and Vardy as back up. Wouldn't be surprised if we get another loan, disappointingly I can't see us getting a LB. Wood is out for 3 weeks
MPH Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 10,500 sign petition to make transfer deadline day a national holiday Jamie Sanderson for Metro.co.ukThursday 29 Jan 2015 12:52 pm 944 Jim White and Natalie Sawyer show us what deadline day should be like (Picture: Sky Sports) January transfer deadline day is one of the most important days of the whole year for football fans. And now a petition has been launched to try and make transfer deadline day a national holiday. Seriously. The petition was launched by Sky Bet but has already been backed by fans, with over 10,500 currently signing the petition. On a day of drama and last-minute deals which can shape the reminder of the season, this is a time we all need to be at home, on the sofa, with popcorn – rather than at work. If you’re keen to add your voice to the crowd, get involved at Change.org.

adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 A win Tommorrow could be a big impact on our transfer negotiations, even a draw lets hope Lady Luck is on our side
sylofox Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 A win Tommorrow could be a big impact on our transfer negotiations, even a draw lets hope Lady Luck is on our side Last time we beat them we were gonna be in Europe. Don't hold your breath one swallow don't make a summer just makes you happy for a day lol Kramaric has nothing to lose if he flops and we go down he is still at a better level than he was. If we stay up great if he performs and we go down he is off no lose for him. Prem players won't view us different sunday after a win than they do today we would still be a risk.

But less of a one and a good sign we're moving in the right direction. Hopefully thats the situation after Saturdays game.
Spanner73 Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 There's loads of time yet your just panicking chill out and trust in nigel !! Thought I'd say it before some other mug does ! They all said it during the summer and look what state were in , but trust in Nigel he'll never let you down
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 30 January 2015 Posted 30 January 2015 Crickey it's like wanting to find out what you've got for Christmas before the big day. We will be active on deadline day, but think our signings will come right out of leftfield ie targets that the media haven't foreseen.

MIAMI_FOX Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Im dissapointed that we're not in for a left back but other than that i'm pleased. ??? Do you have some private in the know arrangement with Pearson and therefore "know" we are not in for a left back Just because the papers haven't given rumours doesn't mean we are not looking.
Xen Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Prem players won't view us different sunday after a win than they do today we would still be a risk. Still a risk, but given that we could be out of the bottom 3 by tomorrow, and we're still in the cup, it will make a massive psychological difference to players considering us. Heck, even if we're 19th, itd be a big boost in regards to transfers.
katieakita Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Luckily Nigel Pearson nor the board have to run things by FT first. We keep quiet about our plans and they only come out from agents and other clubs, this can of course had advantages and disadvantages. Sure we have been used by players and agents to get better deals elsewhere and we were never an option but there is no reason to suggest we have not not deals in principal in place. The selling club will probably be looking for a replacement and this goes on and on. An unavailable target may become available so lets just wait and see.

Art from Oz Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 I can'see why Nigel didn't go for Tim Cahill, He's still playing for Australia and he's still scoring some great goals and he would die to get back into English football, I know he's getting on in years 34 now but lets face it he would probably give as good as we have now.

Good shout this. We should jump at the chance if there was any possibility of signing him.
Scotch Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 SSN are reporting that QPR are closing in on Wolves player Bakary Sako for £3m.... Surely,if this is true, we should be all over this?! He's worth double that, wouldn't cost a fortune in wages and would be a definite improvement in our team. I don't see it as a priority signing,I agree that unless NP is changing formation,we are in desperate need for a LB. HAS to be worth a look surely?
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Sako ??? No really he isn't. Too inconsistent for us; let QPR have him...
Spanner73 Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 No because I still believe in my team have you not heard the quote yet the one he uses every fookin week , I'll be glad when it's over , get rid and get a gaffer in who's proactive !! A tortoise springs to mind when i think of Pearson
LCCFox96 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 No because I still believe in my team have you not heard the quote yet the one he uses every fookin week , I'll be glad when it's over , get rid and get a gaffer in who's proactive !! A tortoise springs to mind when i think of Pearson So you'd rather Pearson was the hare and signed the first few players that became available? If a player doesn't improve the current squad, isn't attainable at a fair price or won't work in the systems we want to play why would we spaff money away on them? Whilst I agree its frustrating the lack of movement in a few key area fans have earmarked for improvement those at the club and the difficult situation of balancing the risk of relegation and time available in the window with getting the right players at the right prices. Its an arduous process so I doubt its through a lack of trying. Besides there is still 24 hours or so left so I believe we will still get at least one more in.
Spanner73 Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 " I won't be staying up late to conclude deals it's not my job " I don't see why there all done so late anyway , my oh my what an @@@@ of a manager we have , it's called making an effort nigel !!

I have news but while ****** like this, spanner and weller54 continue to act like complete dicks I'll keep it to myself Can only guess the results of their mock exams weren't as good as they had hoped ...
