theessexfox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 this may be a great signing all I said was why tonight. Not first team so no help now It was only confirmed tonight, I doubt it took much time or resources away from any other targets which we were chasing (admittedly looking like none now, not that this signing for the future had any bearing on that).
john doe Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Why not tonight? What does it matter? Do you really, hand on heart actually think the club would somehow put off other deals to sign this lad? The club haven't even said a word, it came out through his mates on twitter. What are they meant to do, send out gagging orders to prevent a few people being upset that transfer deadline day is ruined because we signed a kid from Scotland. Why not tonight? What does it matter? it's ok you if you don't get
Babylon Posted 2 February 2015 Author Posted 2 February 2015 it's ok you if you don't get You'll have to repeat that, I don't speak caveman.

What does it matter? It matters to some fans as we've not much to cheer about at the minute (being bottom, fans fighting amongst themselves blah blah). Tonight people were looking for a boost and its not come. Surely thats not too difficult to understand or appreciate? You dont have to try and set everyone straight about everything all of the time. Sometimes if you dont agree, just have a little consideration as to what people might be feeling and just leave it. Dont throw insults about people 'standing with their dicks in their hands' or 'speaking caveman'. You really let yourself down when you post sometimes.

john doe Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 You'll have to repeat that, I don't speak caveman.and I thought transfer deadline was the most boring thing tonight
Stadt Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 I doubt it's Pearson that has signed him, more likely to be Rudkin/beagelman

Tonight people were looking for a boost and its not come. Surely thats not too difficult to understand or appreciate? That is THEIR problem, not the clubs, not Pearson's or the board's... theirs. Being disappointed we haven't signed someone is one thing, slagging off this signing because we haven't is just idiotic.
dayday Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 The boy Hopper is doing alright at Scunthorpe, there's hope yet.

lgfualol Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 The boy Hopper is doing alright at Scunthorpe, there's hope yet. Yea, if we do go down I'd like to see him given a chance if we lose a couple of our current strikers.

jonthefox Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Why tonight? The insensitive bastards. Your starting to sound like a mahoosive knob now
Babylon Posted 2 February 2015 Author Posted 2 February 2015 Your starting to sound like a mahoosive knob now Funnily enough that's what I thought about those whinging. Shall we call it a draw?

Renart Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 Great signing. Happy to see us picking up talented youngsters. I do not understand a whole heap of posts in this thread. They are made by people who don't understand business or football. So, we are not supposed to sign players who don't go straight into the team or look to develop our youth because that is.... actually, I cannot even complete that sentence because I genuinely do not get what the objection is. Stupid upid people. Do you let the window go by, pass up a good opportunity, let another team buy a talented youngster because.... What? Still not getting it.. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. These signing happen all the time. Relax.
The_77 Posted 2 February 2015 Posted 2 February 2015 The folks complaining about this must have never multi-tasked in their lives. Of course it's imperative that the club gets out of the relegation zone but if you have a chance to swipe up some highly-rated young talent, you go for it. I really doubt anyone slipped past the club because of this signing. Whether or not we stay up, this is a big move for the kid, the likes of whom often wind up at more successful clubs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
