Guest Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 A return of just 2 wins from 17 doesn't imply bad luck. It implies errors. Harsh, but true, Errors yes and some bad luck. Take it you don't Remember West Brom at home or Liverpool away?
chicagofox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 been pretty unlucky tonight imo NO. WE WERE NOT! There is nothing unlucky about missing chances and there is nothing unlucky about poor marking and there is nothing unlucky about poor goalkeeping. Please explain to me in what aspect we were unlucky tonight.
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Yeah but mate there is no such thing as luck you know. It's a myth. The illuminati. This is just like that Jimmy Kebe deadline day deal yeah i know man no such thing as a joke neither. make your own jokes don't you. myths.
ADK Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 We weren't unlucky against Arsenal, however I think we were unlucky against Palace. Hitting the post is unlucky, and the number of uncontrolled parries by Speroni and loose balls in their area that didn't fall for us was unlucky.
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 NO. WE WERE NOT! There is nothing unlucky about missing chances and there is nothing unlucky about poor marking and there is nothing unlucky about poor goalkeeping. Please explain to me in what aspect we were unlucky tonight. every aspect. you nuts. unluckiest team in the league, the league table is basically a luck table, that's the only reason we're bottom.
Deucalion Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 An over-used phrase in football is narrow margins. We have lost a ridiculous amount of games this season by a narrow margin, and occasionally it has been unlucky, but mainly it is because we are not quite good enough. We are not the first team to receive praise for playing well and not being far off who have still been relegated. We are not particularly special in that regard. The truth is we are not quite good enough. We are not good enough not to make regular defensive errors and we are not good enough to put away our chances when we get them. We can play with as much spirit and get as much praise as you like, unless the two above facts change, we will be relegated.
Finn Claw II Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 The Numbers Game implies luck is actually a big factor in football. http://tomkinstimes.com/2013/06/statistical-truths-detailed-in-the-numbers-game/ Luck was certainly on our side vs Manure
SystonFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 every aspect. you nuts. unluckiest team in the league, the league table is basically a luck table, that's the only reason we're bottom. Haha. We only have 17 luck points and arsenal beat us two lucks to one luck tonight. If only we had been more luckier. ahahahhaahha im done
ScouseFox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Luck is for losers. well we keep losing and we're the most unluckiest WERK DAT 1 OOT SON
Unabomber Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 We are lucky to have Mahrez, Kramaric and Esteban Cambiasso good LUCK arguing that one all you luck outers.
DennisNedry Posted 22 February 2015 Author Posted 22 February 2015 Is it bad luck again that Schlupp can't shoot for shit and then we concede again? No, we're just shit
BigWesMorgan Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Is it good luck when Lukaku misses 2 one one ones?
josh_baskin Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 For a while I thought that Lady Luck may have been on our side but maybe now it's time to throw the towel in accept relegation.
Grewks Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 If you are arguing that a lack our lack ability/quality isn't bad luck.....then no we were not lucky that Lukaku missed some sitters. However we were unlucky to concede the second. Upson's defending was too good. If he left his man...we would've had the 3 points.
ScouseFox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 we were unlucky not to get a blatant penalty 30 seconds before they scored
Grewks Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 we were unlucky not to get a blatant penalty 30 seconds before they scored The coleman handball? Disagree to be honest. Start giving them...and players will start to cross the ball aiming for the arms on purpose. I think mahrez did that aswell to be honest.
Spicer Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 we were unlucky not to get a blatant penalty 30 seconds before they scored His arm was in a natural position, wasn't a penalty.
ScouseFox Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 they've been given against us this season but never for us. whether you agree or disagree with the decisions that's unlucky that they're always going against us, at both ends of the pitch
Corky Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 I know what you are saying but the decisions against us were incorrect, the ref was correct today.
Guest ttfn Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 Obviously the Simpson one was an especially strange one to give coming as it did after one of the worst refereeing decisions in history.
shailen Posted 22 February 2015 Posted 22 February 2015 we were unlucky not to get a blatant penalty 30 seconds before they scored Arms by his side in a natural position. More ball to hand.
