Nothing to do with 'luck'

Recommended Posts

We consistently fail to get many, or any, shots on target in games despite good possession and creating chances.

We consistently defend very poorly and gift the opposition goals.

This means we will continue to lose the majority of our games. We simply are not good enough at either end of the pitch. It is nothing to do with being unlucky. So stop using it as an excuse.

I don't think many people think we are exclusively "unlucky" do they.

We have had some bad luck, granted. I think what most people say is we consistently put in noteworthy performances, fail to take our chances, make silly individual errors and concead too many set pieces and lose most games by one or two goals. You can't really argue with that.

been pretty unlucky tonight imo

How do you expect us to score when we haven't had a shot on target?

And how to you expect to keep a clean sheet when we don't mark from corners and our keeper palms a shot straight to Theo Walcott.

The only logical result is a defeat, you are delusional mate if you think it's unlucky, sorry.

No we haven't, sure we have played okay but we haven't been unlucky. We are sloppy in the final third and sloppy when defending, nothing to do with luck it's...I don't know what the problem is. Poor training, poor tactics, poor players?

Played well tonight, again Unlucky might not be the right term but we've had the chances to get a point in not more.

No we haven't.

We picked Morgan again, surprise surprise he costs us again.

All these failures are our own making. So what if we have a load of  possession? It's quality on the ball you need, not quantity.

Mahrez is a prime example. He always looks dangerous, he does some very good things, but when it comes to his final ball or shot, he has no end product most of the time.

We were unlucky on a whole but key factors contribute and those key factors aren't down to luck, they are individual mistakes and players that are lacking quality.

Our gameplay is good, hard working you cannot deny that.

Poor defending and not taking our chances is what's cost us not bad luck.

A return of just 2 wins from 17 doesn't imply bad luck. It implies errors.

Harsh, but true,
