LCFCCKEANO Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Any idea how bad his injury is? Also, what did we think of him, I thought he was very good, and more importantly, can pass a ball without panicking and hoofing!
One Legged Beaver Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Thought he was fairly decent. Our 3rd best centre back after Was and Huth after that showing.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Great challenge on Sanchez, after that he looked as though he rarely wanted to get on the ball unless he was out wide or in plenty of space.
Fox92 Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Hope he's fit. Still want to see Upson and Huth in a back four.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Looked decent, shame he's got glass legs.
J.Lisemore Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Amazing really how he played so many games for Brighton last season, looks a useful player for us if we can get him fit though.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Great player but always injured... which is why he isn't playing for a top half side
Alf Bentley Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 8 years out So, some time in 2023 he'll be having a late fitness test for Alzheimer's and rheumatoid arthritis.
johnny the fox Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 I expected nothing else after being out for so long. it was almost certain he would pick up something against arsenal..
Swiss_tony Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 after seeing 4 central defenders against the gooners in order of quality it was huth, upson, was, wes. pity huth is cup tied. and if pearson has any sense in the league he'll play huth and was if we have 4 at the back or huth upsan and was if upson is fit and we can play 5. morgan shouldn't get near the first team if upson is fit again. but he will, and we'll leak goals, and we'll get relegated. i don't think i've seen a more flagrant example of loyalty to one player that puts a club in jeopardy, except maybe past-it gerrard at liverpool.
Harry - LCFC Posted 12 February 2015 Posted 12 February 2015 Pearson says he was brought off as a precaution. Only short term then.

Get over yourself tony, where have you been for the last 18 months?
Soar Fox Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 Get over yourself tony, where have you been for the last 18 months? Switzerland?
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 13 February 2015 Posted 13 February 2015 To be fair to Tony maybe a bit harsh with how he says it but it's hard to make a case for Wes being an automatic starter. If you've got better alternatives you should play them. Hard to say Was hasn't been much better all season, Huth looked class against Arsenal and both he and Upson have a lot of experience at this level, it's a no brainer that Wes should not be a first choice centre back at the minute.
