Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Sorry you all seem reluctant to answer the question, who did have a stinker today? If we were that crap somebody must have been absolutely terrible......
whitwickfox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 At least it now seems that all fans are becoming united once again
Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Are you mad?! .. And i think it depends on your ambitions and expectations for the club. If you want to be a great Champion ship side, keep him, give him a massive contract. If you want to become an established premiership side, sack him 3 months ago and replace aforementioned players with competent football players.
Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Are you deluded we have had one season in the premiership in the last 11 we are a9% Premiership club 91% Championship club....and even that's wrong we had one season playing Crewe and the like.......we are very much a Championship club trying to get a foot in the Premiership......
st albans fox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Sorry you all seem reluctant to answer the question, who did have a stinker today? If we were that crap somebody must have been absolutely terrible...... Huth was ok Vardy ran around a lot Apart from that, I didn't really notice the others from a positive perspective. nothing horrendous too often but at this level, you need a cohesive well planned performance or some real stand out stuff. We had neither.
Matt Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Tunnel Cam. https://youtu.be/-L3pW-b1Xs8 The players know. Also what's with Pearson marching De Laet down the tunnel in the changing room like a naughty schoolboy?!
Dickov22 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Sorry you all seem reluctant to answer the question, who did have a stinker today? If we were that crap somebody must have been absolutely terrible...... I'd say Kramaric, Upson, James, Cambiasso all had really poor games for a start. Morgan De Laet Schlupp average. Only good performers were Huth and Vardy
adam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Are you deluded we have had one season in the premiership in the last 11 we are a9% Premiership club 91% Championship club....and even that's wrong we had one season playing Crewe and the like.......we are very much a Championship club trying to get a foot in the Premiership...... have we only been In existence for 11 years?
LexicalChoice Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Sorry you all seem reluctant to answer the question, who did have a stinker today? If we were that crap somebody must have been absolutely terrible...... Sorry, i wasn't clear, "Are you mad?!' was aimed at the fact you thought Schluppy boy and that centre back played 'really well'.. No one played 'well' but if you were going to pick anyone, it certainly wouldn't be these two. They were awful. Cambiasso linked up a few times nicely with Kram - who had did a couple of good turns but failed to produce anything of any value. Vardy ran a lot but again, it never amounted to anything. Schwarzer made a decent save out of a poor shot at the end but his distribution was appalling.... Everyone had a stinker. Hull were absolutely terrible and we couldn't even get anything out of them. Are you deluded we have had one season in the premiership in the last 11 we are a9% Premiership club 91% Championship club....and even that's wrong we had one season playing Crewe and the like.......we are very much a Championship club trying to get a foot in the Premiership...... I wasn't saying were not a championship side. In response to your comments about, " forgetting about last years successes.... nobody calling for NP's head then" year... I was saying that if your ambitions as a club are to exceed being anything but a good championship side, then NP isn't the man for the job, clearly. you'll see from my previous comments, i don't think he's a bad manager... but he isn't good enough to take this club back to where it used to be under MON, which is where my expectations are for this club. Sorry for wanting my club to be better, your ambitions are obviously not as strong
Dickov22 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Thought you was a big fan of pearson, might be wrong but always thought I saw you post positively about him. Not taking the piss, just wondered what's changed your opinion. Like I say I might be wrong, might have got you mixed up with other posters. No you're right, I was a huge fan. I turned after Palace at home. I think he's badly let us down this season. Inexplicable tactics, team selections and his general behaviour is an embarrassment. It pisses me off the way he won't talk to Ian Stringer or the Fox fanzine, too. It's like he just doesn't give a damn about the club and us fans. I've had it with him. Today it seemed to be the players have lost faith in him too. He just doesn't inspire them
Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 It's fine having ambition, as long as it is laced with reality....we are miles behind clubs like Hull in terms of clout, (didn't they sign a centre forward in the window we were linked with?) will take more than ambition to get us there.......if we genuinely believe Nigel hasn't signed ten players who would benefit the team because he lacks ambition what planet are you on? Of course he wants to sign better players.....but, we can't afford them, they don't want to come to us, they would rather sit on a bench earn more, there are so many variables in team strengthening its unreal, sorry to disagree with you I thought our back three ( Wes, Upson and Huth) were largely untroubled today and we're decent.....STephen Dawson they ain't, but hey he wouldn't sign for us either.......

So your telling me we couldn't find a LB who is better than Konchesky in the summer? Surely we could have attracted someone who could play at this level and would sign for us. Pearson put too much faith in last years team and that's what has cost us.
Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We wanted the Ipswich lad from memory, linked with him, guess what signed for West Ham....see my point?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 She always has and so have I. I've changed my opinion now. He's had enough chances. That's my thought too. I always had faith in him, even during the 13 match (or was it more) winless run I thought he'd turn it around. Loss loss loss. Mind boggling team selections and player omissions. Can't motivate for shit now - if you can't get a goal at home against a ten-man Hull with half the team on yellow cards, when the hell are you going to pump your players up to even try staying up? Taking the piss now. If (and it's a massive if) we somehow stay up, it's going to take a very good start to next season to win back the trust of a lot of fans. If (a much more likely if) we're relegated, our few decent players will likely be poached, I can see a lot of the neglected bench-warmers (and others dropped entirely) will want to leave and then others who'll either be retiring or out of contract - will the owners have faith in giving Pearson possibly his most difficult transfer window to date after an absolutely turgid 12 months of failure? Surely their patience must be running thin I can't believe I've only come to realise that we deserve to be where we are - there has been a bit of bad luck contributing to a few dropped points but it has mostly been shit performances, stupid mistakes and bizarre team selections that have seen us squander so many opportunities. How promising we looked at the start of the season - I bet very few people would say they thought we'd drop this far. Did last season even happen? F**king hell I hate losing all the time. Today seemed somehow even worse than a loss.
adam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 We wanted the Ipswich lad from memory, linked with him, guess what signed for West Ham....see my point? Yes but there must be others. Miss one target move on to the next
LexicalChoice Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 sorry to disagree with you I thought our back three ( Wes, Upson and Huth) were largely untroubled today and we're decent..... I agree with you that we were largely untroubled, although the two clearest cut chances of the match went to Hull, and that Huth and Upson were ok. But Morgan... I wince every time the ball comes near him. suicide passes, stupid runs, calamity tackles, out of position most of the time. The ONLY thing i'll give him was smashing N'Doye to the ground with an epic shoulder barge.
Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Who would you sign as a matter of interest, a left back who would sign for Leicester?
adam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Who would you sign as a matter of interest, a left back who would sign for Leicester? God nos, Ive not got 10 scouts working for me but you honestly think we couldn't have found a better left back in the summer.
Reg Vardy Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 I am struggling, that's why I asked you......who would sign for us? Signing players is a complex process, and despite what most people think, we aren't Real Madrid....
weller54 Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 God nos, Ive not got 10 scouts working for me but you honestly think we couldn't have found a better left back in the summer. God nos????... Who does he currently play for?
adam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 God nos????... Who does he currently play for? that was bad England ill give you that
theessexfox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Too deflated to get even more downbeat by reading this forum (long journey for that today) but I'll give my assessment. Following words spring to mind from today: pathetic, flat, spineless, gutless. At least with other defeats like Palace I've come away thinking we were a tad unlucky, we performed decently and 'fine margins' didn't go our way. Today was different - today we were utterly shocking given the importance of the game. The pace, intensity and desire weren't there from the first whistle. We were laboured, we took our time, we always took one or two touches too many. In addition, I was more pleased with the line up due to attacking wing backs (though far from convinced with 3 centre backs at home), but to play our two smallest strikers and play long ball? What were we looking to achieve? The defence was solid which I guess was a positive, especially since I was fully expecting a 1-0 defeat, but being solid just isn't good enough at this stage. We needed to want to win today, but we never once looked like scoring. NP in his interview was interesting, refreshingly honest actually though I'm getting sick of a man I admire so much. Consistently frustrating this season and today was the final nail in the meticulously built coffin of our season. He sounded scathing of our attackers, particularly Kramaric, though I thought it was Mahrez who looked most toothless. Our CMs and wing backs did what they could, Vardy showed some energy but Mahrez and Kramaric were lifeless.
adam Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Mahrez looked even more embarrassing on MOTD. He was just a cheat. Nothing else you could say.
RGFox Posted 14 March 2015 Posted 14 March 2015 Seriously cheesed off today. a must-win game - really poor performance lacking any urgency or confidence. So little movement and devoid of ideas to the point we hoof it up. Poor wes can't control the ball for toffee and looks a liability with his poor touch. Mahrez is hardly involved and lightweight. Only schwarzer, huth and vardy played remotely well. and why oh why does kramaric keep drifting oit wide to accept throw-ins or drop into midfield. Get in the bloody box! Surely after such a poor first half with sod all chances, we iught to make some changes at half-time. But no anothrr 15-20 mins of dross. Then brings on lawrence, when we need decent suplly (Albrighton). And keeps 3 central defenders when dull go down to 10 men until last 5 mins... I really do wonder what the eff they do during the week during practice coz they make the same basic mistakes esch week, standing off, passing to opposition too often, poor set-pieces... rant over
Reg Vardy Posted 15 March 2015 Posted 15 March 2015 have we only been In existence for 11 years? Did I really early say we had? Really?
