He can't motivate players, they raise their games against the top teams as all players at any club do.

People on here have been claiming that he still has the support of the players, I think today's performance shows that is no longer the case, that or his idea of tactics totally confused them.

The cnut has turned my team into a joke, I wish he'd have the balls to quit but I'd sooner we sacked him.

So fcuking angry about that pathetic display.

But come on, shouldn't the players get themselves up for the game?

I'm not defending Pearson far from it, i've mentioned his set up and how pathetic it was, criminal. Whilst that set up poor and we weren't going to win setting up like that, the players had no urgency, no fight, no-one wanted the ball, they were scared, now ok Pearson could have told them to play at a low tempo, slow the game down, but I can't see even Pearson telling them to use those tactics when we had a player advantage, even if he did, if I were one of those players i'd have upped the tempo by myself, it's the obvious thing to do, common sense - The players have to take the blame on that for no urgency imo.

As i've said we looked like we were 1-0 up and just had the player sent off ourselves, cringeworthy.

What a ****ing shambles we are, we look like a team that have never played together.

Nigel Pearson is so out of his league it is embarrassing, it's time he is held accountable for the poor season, and the shit tactics.

The players don't look interested, and don't look like a side, fighting to stay up, to be honest, I don't think they are happy with the chopping and changing of formations, and they don't look like they know what they are supposed to do in their roles.

Shocking management, shocking season, and cannot wait to see the back of them both.

Nigel thinks we need to win 5 games to stay up! Nice one Nige

They should but I'm starting to think that they haven't believed in the manager all season and so expect to lose before the game even starts.

Not sure what else explains the fact that we are effectively second best whoever we play.

I'm sure I read that if he thought it was over (which it is), that he'd leave for the sake of the club?

Thanks for everything Nige, but do the right thing.

Not sure that I will buy a season ticket if he's still manager next season. Costs a fortune in train fares and for what? Seriously think we will struggle next season as he's destroyed the team.

The lineup was fine. What was wrong was the tactics. Hoofing it to Mahrez, Kramaric and Vardy was the most ridiculous thing i've seen all season. When they got it on the floor, they looked pretty good.

Cannot see how anyone thinks that bringing on TL was a good move. Morgan for Nugent was the sub needed at that time. Go 4 at the back but maintaining RDL and Schlupp as attacking options. They were down to 10 and pretty shite.

There is no defending not winning that game. No defence at all.

Like you I can't explain or put my finger on why and I think we are asking the same questions, but I can't see that it's down your suggestion of not believing in the manager all season and expect to lose before the game starts - only they can affect it, no matter how much people believe the fans make a difference only those 11 players on the pitch can do anything about the match.

Now even if they didn't believe in the manager, surely they wanna be putting in a shift, a good performance even if it's to get themselves in the shop window, I just can't understand why they perform in a handful of games against the top teams yet are so poor against teams we stand a chance against.

I don't know if I can be bothered to watch this side under pearson anymore this season, is so gutless and painful to watch.

We only just survived a loss, how their player missed I will never know

Their GK didn't really have a meaningful shot on target to save.

Says it all really

Interesting to hear Pearson call todays formation as 3-4-3, because to me, for the most part, especially first half, it still seemed to be a 5-4-1, with Vardy as the central striker on his own, and Mahrez on the right,  and Kramaric shifted out to the left.

On paper he had more attacking full backs, but in truth i don`t think they played with any more attacking intent than Simpson and Konchesky.

Pearson said we played too safe but that was how it felt we were set up to me.

I actually thought the line up at the start looked good. He was always going to stick with 3 centre backs so this 11 at least offered us the opportunity for attacking intent.

Then we started with Vardy furthest forward and Kramaric dropping deeper on the left. Poor Kramaric has had to bust a gut recently playing as a lone striker then the first time he could have had support he doesn't play furthest forward. As soon as vardy dropped deeper he was far more effective, this was evident after 10 mins but no change. To bring Ulloa on Kramaric had to go off.

Again we were outnumbered in the middle of the park and our two had their poorest game for a while in a game we needed them to perform.

De Leat was a million times better than Simpson and Schlupp did ok down the left against their most attacking threat. Why we took off our width down the right I'll never know. Down to 10 men surely we want to stretch them across the full width and poor Lawrence was on a hiding to nothing as that isn't his position.

All in all it was a frustrating first hour but I wasn't too upset, other than Kramaric and Vardy being the wrong way round. So last 30 mins Pearson had the opportunity to prove his worth and unfortunately his tactical and motivational skills or lack of skills really shone through. Not once did we really test their keeper and didn't look like scoring.

I've tried to remain positive and a win today believed we had an outside chance. Unfortunately I think relegation is ineveitable. Frustrating me even more is I think there are three worse sides in terms of player quality than us but still we are bottom. Perhaps that should be a sign of who is to blame currently.

time for a beer and come Wednesday I'll be praying for a White Heart Lane miracle.

A match between 2 of the worst 5 teams in the league, probably as poor a game as I've ever seen at this level. Hull were shocking, we were worse.

Mahrez looked lost, Kramaric wasn't getting into it enough and looked like he didn't want it and don't me started on "£3M rated" Jeff Schlupp.

The season is over - in reality it was over after Palace and it's just a case of whether we'll finish anywhere but bottom.

Name?

You do realise we have won just 4 games all season, and that we have picked up 12 points from the last 69!

My god, we would be hard pressed to employ any other manager in the land who could do worse than that!

Just think everyone if you all were this passionate about wanting Pearson out at Christmas then the owners may have acted and Brough in someone capable. But because so many deluded fans thought he was going to change his approach we are of back to the championship!!!

No one is bigger than the club!!

Well I said 'different everything' and last time I looked the weather was included in 'everything'.

Just thought with how ridiculous some of your statements were such as different fans, maybe you'd of pointed out different weather rather than just putting it under the category of 'everything'

In a weird way, it probably would have woken us the fvck up if Jelavic had of scored.

I would have absolutely no complaints if he's sacked now. Totally out of his depth at this level. There's a lot I like about him and a lot I respect about him, but we need to look at what we can do to make a better fist of it next time we're up (and that's a big assumption to assume he'd get us back up next season) because I've seen absolutely nothing since January to suggest things would go any differently.

£17mil spent on forwards and we can't score at home to ten man Hull.

Dan, i feel your pain. This club needs some new ideas and a new impetus
