I'm actually torn, I really don't trust the Thai's judgement in getting a suitable replacement if I'm honest. But it's pretty evident we need some fresher ideas going forward, else I wouldn't be surprised if we struggle next year too.

I don't trust the owners to actually have a clue what they are doing manager-wise. The fact that Pearson is still in a job baffles the life out of me.

I as post, I would say 196 have voted sensible, 140 are far to patient, and 21 couldn't have seen any games, the ones on the phone in that say, pearson must stay, listening to the radio, we sounded like we play well. lol

EDIT

Forgot to say, my opinion, before the 21 attack lol

Not getting into the Sven debate, but for me they booted him out to early in the season, and for me again have waited far to long this season.

So for me, you post is a fair assessment of the owners.

In my opinion with all the shit results, sacking then not sacking, putting up with what could be up there with one of worsed seasons, in premier league history, and to top it all, pearson's antic's, and we hear nothing of what their feelings, or adjusted aspirations are, they need to come out and back him, or sack him, in my opinion.

I genuinely believe that our Season has been defined by that 'sacking' and lack of conviction. Too much happiness just to sit back and leave it and leave it and. Oh. It's too late.

The Pearson in mentality needs a dose of this

At first I was afraid
I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live
without you by my side
But then I spent so many nights
thinking how you did me wrong
And I grew strong
And I learned how to get along
and so you're back
from outer space
I just walked in to find you here
with that sad look upon your face
I should have changed that stupid lock
I should have made you leave your key
If I had known for just one second
you'd be back to bother me

Go on now go walk out the door
just turn around now
'cause you're not welcome anymore

Yeah it's a shame I wasn't allowed to be telling you how wrong you were earlier.

Oh I thought you ment something I've posted, but I'm guessing you mean because you have been banned, you haven't replyed to anything.

I think I have been mellow with my views, never rated him, never will, did well last season, shocking this.

Anyway, surprised you got banned, as you normally post sensible post, and debate well, still nice to see you back,

Shhh...Col, "Don't Mention the Banning of Mark W" they keep deleting posts and locking threads when he pops up

I get the strangest feeling you're trying to be funny here.

They delete posts on here for nothing.

Half of last nights post in the liam moore on loan thread have gone.

I am starting to wonder what we can talk about other than NP being sacked seems ok.

More than 50% want him sacked now or at the end of the season, that's a big turnaround from a month or 2 ago.

For me January was a last throw of the dice and we haven't improved since November. His decisions have been appalling and I think he's burned that many bridges that it's beyond repair.

The Hull & Palace games are proof that we've not improved in the slightest.

End of the season. The damage this season has been done so the owners need to sound out potential replacements. The next man has to be good, we need promotion next season.

Agreed. As a ''Pearsonite'', ultimately he's on the road to failure. Get considering replacements ready for next season. Wouldn't sack him now as replacements available are very poor and would be a disaster for the club's mid-term prospects.

Stay up or go down, far too much as gone on in this season with Pearson to keep him in charge. If he hangs about until August, there would be widespread arguments between the fans.

Will be a real shame to let Steve Walsh as our head scout go. Similarly Mahrez and Kramaric - even contact their agents to start the whoring of them about. Start the contingency, start thinking who should be let go and where we need to strengthen.

He has signed mainly rubbish, so why exactly?

YOur signature seems a little dated then

Ha ha I forgot I had that normally only on post on my phone.

I guess I still back Pearson, and think everyone should back Pearson while he is our manager I'm just a bit indifferent if he gets sacked.

Do we trust the owners judgement in bringing in a quality replacement?

In his first spell, Nige was forced out and replaced with Sousa, who perhaps whilst not being a bad manager, tried to implement an array of new ideas too quickly or ideas that the squad werent capable of taking on board.

He was only here a few months and then replaced with Sven. He did get us playing, but then tinkered a little too much with his loan dealings. Second season had us close to the playoffs, and some might argue that the owners pulled the trigger a little too quickly in dismissing him (not me personally, but some would).

Having gone around in a circle, they then reverted back to Pearson, who you could perhaps argue in the instance where they gave Sven too little time, they have now let a situation deteriorate too far with Pearson.

The owners have done an incredible amount of work on the financial side of the club which they have to be commended for their commitment, but next season is going to be absolutely massive and if they screw it up, it could set the club back several years.

I dont really see the merits of the "give him 10 games" argument.

If youre giving a manager 10 games, and things arent working, then a new manager has to work with a squad that isnt his until January where business is usually limited anyway, but coming up to a quarter of the season would have been written off, and i dont see it as being much different to now. People are in jobs now and wont leave them, so itll still be a prising a manager away from a job situation 10 games into next, only difference being the crowd will be restless and the squad demoralised if theyre playing so badly the manager has been sacked.

Its got to be get rid in the summer, and let a new man implement what he wants to implement, or stick with Pearson for the long haul next season.

Sadly for me, i have no confidence that Pearson can inspire the turnaround next season considering the points that have been raised numerous times across many threads.

You've gotta be kidding me right? This season you have a point but when he's signed a player they have generally achieved what was required of him. Kramaric clearly is a good player but isolated as a single striker. Cambiasso similarly identified by Walsh this time last year. The players have failed in the PL, we signed players year after year what failed in the Championship.

For years upon years, we had heaps of shit like Jason Jarrett turning out for us or Levein's SPL non-Old Firm All-Stars. In Sven's era, we had a bunch of gutless idiots who he signed off name. Let's go back to the days of such gems as Michael Lamey and Moreno.

Walsh identified (before Pearson had any input to them as players) skilful players like Knockaert and Mahrez from the French Second Division. Defenders like Michael Morrison from non-league Cambridge, Jack Hobbs from Liverpool reserves and finding Tunchev from Bulgaria too. Then you have Berner, Wasyl and Dyer picked up for nothing but served us well. Using his contacts to strike up decent deals off the likes of Manchester United. Foreseeing the potential of someone like Harry Kane (who was wrongly used at Leicester or Yann Kermorgant (fans were not willing to patient with someone adjusting to the division). Vardy taken from non-league Fleetwood.

No, not in a million. However, I suspect Rudkin maybe into drawing up the options. Of which, Warburton will definitely be one.
