Stevosevic Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'm sure most of us will expect it, whether we get it or not i don't know.
Matt Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Very excited about this, and the new Holloway era has got me very excited and optimistic but my mind after 5 years+ of it happening i'm struggling to change my mind set of - Well we've won one great, but no doubt we'll lose our next 2 or 3 games. Having said that in the past when we've won i've had the feeling of, wow we've won, and not really been very excited about it, but today because of the excitment and optimism because of Holloway I was very happy and very excited after today win. Be happy, I hope this is the start of something good and reading more and more stuff about Holloway the more excited I get about the man, but don't get too excited, Not just yet, we've had so many false hope's, so many let-downs, e.t.c over the years it's hard to believe anything good will come to us. We won today he's the best thing since sliced bread, We lose on Monday and people will be wanting him out. But thats not gonna happen...We're going to win on Monday!
Finnegan Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I still haven't seen Leicester win live since the Promotion season. And guess what? I'm going to Cardiff. Oh yes, oh yes. Sorry, boys.
mmarkie Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 yep we are and we are playing better football
davieG Posted 24 November 2007 Author Posted 24 November 2007 I still haven't seen Leicester win live since the Promotion season. And guess what? I'm going to Cardiff. Oh yes, oh yes. Sorry, boys. Whenever my son misses a game and that's not too many we always win and invariably score a few and guess what? he's not going as he's in Milan. Don't worry boys and girls.

So it's going to be a draw seeing as there both counter-acting each other out?
Koke Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I still haven't seen Leicester win live since the Promotion season. And guess what? I'm going to Cardiff. Oh yes, oh yes. Sorry, boys. Stay away son I'm optimistic and looking forward to this game. And being the home team I'm expecting to win of course, but I ain't taking nothing for granted. If we play good football and still lose, I won't be half as annoyed as I'm normally am. 2 games in 48 hours is a big ask for anybody, lets just hope our boys put in a good performance. Its on Sky + a full house, so hopefully it'll be a good game.

Ok i'll agree with you 2 games in 48 hours is a big ask and after a 2 week break to come back to that is a pathetic, but should we lose (which isn't going to happen) lets not use that as an excuse because such as the "bad pitch" excuse saga for England for example its the same for both teams, remember Cardiff played today aswell.
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'm looking forward to kicking back and watching this as well. With being away, working and the international breaks, I've not seen us play for about 3 or 4 weeks. A win would be really nice but two wins on the trot....we're in dream land there I think.
maddog Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Play off chances back on? Well i feel the same optimism for this season as i felt after the 4-1 Watford win after today. Holloway has got the team playing in 48 hours, the same players from shit to good. From what i heard we held off Bristol who struggled to create any chances but rather than an awful 0-0 or 1-0 defeat we managed to score 2 great goals and win. If we win our game on Monday for a short time we will be 3 points off the play offs. And with other teams playing tuesday we may only be 4 or 5 off them with a game in hand again. Then its Southampton at home which is winable, they lost 5-0 last week to Sheff Wed. I hope we can do what Leicester never do and actually just win these next 2 home games easily rather than losing one and drawing one. John, Campbell, Cort, Fryatt may all be out though so we are relying on Hume who is having an awful season and Sappleton if he plays which he may to get the goals. Cardiff are a good team but i think we may have em. Part of me says that we may lose though to some Hassielbaink and Fowler goals? And the other part says 3-1 Leicester
Flynny Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'm optimistic about Holloway whatever happens monday night, but a win should put us within 3 points of the playoffs, which is always an excellent position to be in.
Koke Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Lets get a momentum going first and lets get to Christmas and see where we are at that time. Then we can talk about play-off. Until then lets shut the hell up about it.

If results go our way the following day that is. I, too, am optimistic about the Ollie era.

Bryn Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for the remainder of this season providing we stay up. Each game all I want to see is effort. The result doesn't matter to me in terms of whether we keep him or not, I just want to keep the pressure off the team and give him the time he needs to build the side.
Bert Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Typicl Leicester to go on and lose after a great performance away from home.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Typicl Leicester to go on and lose after a great performance away from home. Sadly all too true, especially for a televised game (would be interested to see our record in live TV games - betting it's not good!) However, if we do lose, let's NOT get as despondent as we are optomistic right now... it'll be 2 games within 4 days in charge and little he will have been to do appart from raise morale (which I believe he has done, if what Weslowski said on RL is anything to go by!) Remember: a pessimist can only ever be a) right or b) pleasantly surprised
Raj Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 WHY should we not win eh? How long was it since the First manager won his first game??? 1950's...even davie G wasn't born then??? Who really would have thought we'd beat Bristol C yday?? I bet not that many. I believe we really CAN beat Cardiff Tomorrow. I also anticipate that it will be COLD. very fcuking cold. But if we win my heart will be warm...especially when i walk up that hill to Vicky Park...bloody hill Come on you City Slickers!!!
MC Prussian Posted 25 November 2007 Posted 25 November 2007 FootyMAD reckons it's going to be a narrow win... for us! Cardiff's away speaks against them, as they're on a poor form away from Ninian Park. http://www.cardiffcity-mad.co.uk/news/load...V&id=364423 Finnegan - where's your loyalty? Country or club?
