Cult heroes of the noughties.

A positive thread to change the mood a bit. As the decade is coming to a close lets look back at fans favourites of the last 10 years.

Not necessarily the best player but a player who could make you smile or get you going. Try and say a few words why as well if possible. I'll go first;

Danny Tiatto; What I love in a player and just what you'd expect from an Aussie. An up and at 'em, hard tackling, have a go type player.

I remember when I first saw him playing for Man City on MOTD thinking I wish he played for us and then Mickey Adams signed him.

I know he wasn't everybody's favourite but I thought he was great.

Billy McKinlay- Arrived at the club after relegation in 2002, agreed to play for nothing (or everything as he stated) and proved a vital part of the team, linking up with the superb Muzzy Izzet. Scored a cracking goal at Coventry too.

Not the best in terms of skill, but attitude and application was first-class.

I wont spoil your topic and say what I thought of him but a chance to resurrect a graphic is one I can't miss.

We haven't had anyone very good since the early noughties. Elliot, Izzet, Lennon, Savage were still here weren't they?

Dickov was great first time around.

Those would be my first two choices, two decent players, how we could have done with them last night.

Nikos Dabizas was a bit of a cult hero, remains one of the slowest defenders I've ever seen in a Leicester shirt lol, but he always wore his heart on his sleeve and gave 100%.

The first ones that jump out at me.

EDIT: Nissa must surely enter cult folklore for the Preston goal.
