They certainly wouldn't be friendly if you call them Greek -
Best Leicester 11 of your lifetime (in terms of ability)
bovril replied to BenTheFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we're talking 'ability' then I'm surprised more haven't said Sir Les. Although we had him last his prime. Still a superb player though. -
Entering Leicester from the East on the A47 is pretty horrific especially as the drive is through some very nice areas. Was quite a culture shock for me when I was like 11 and first going to the football. City centre isn't too bad and I'm always struck by how cleaner the streets are compared to London.

Try and go north into the mountains. Glorious this time of year.

I think they struggle against males over the age of 12

Or that the English have run out of other countries to call shitholes

Quite funny how england is now portrayed in various media like a Brit documentary from ten years ago portrayed Eastern Europe, or basically anywhere that wasn't the UK.

Izzet vs Palace when he was limping

Heskey's first was superb too.

I love it. Loads of tourists of course but still retains its character. Love the food. I know plenty of people who dislike it though. Bari is cool too. You've probably heard about the spaghetti all assassina but I also remember a not very salubrious looking grill place in the old town that does bombette sandwiches for like 4 euros which is great.

I'm definitely way more English than British. British feels more like a political construct to me, more related to empire and aggressive protestantism. I get a bit depressed how little the English seem to know or care about England and its history. Especially the flag waving roundabout painters. Totally ignorant of most of our literature, art, architecture, history, and especially our identity as an intrinsically European nation. Too busy wanting to be 'global Britain' I guess. Maybe dissolving the union would improve things but it'd probably just end up like Russia, an angry and materially and culturally impoverished nation nostalgic for former glories. Half way there already.

We usually stay in the 5th which still feels at least a bit studenty and boho, at least the eastern bit. Around St Michel is very touristy. 6th always seemed a little dull to me, lots of high end shops, so you maybe did well to choose elsewhere (edit - maybe I'm thinking of further west). I really like Le Marais although again it's more sterile than it used to be. Au Petit Fer a Cheval is one of my favourite places though probably doesn't have much in the way of vegan food. Great bar opposite too. Paris really makes you weep for London's nightlife.

Best GK Performance - Both for and against us
bovril replied to jimsmallman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Keller at home to Newcastle was pretty impressive. Remember Ogrizovich having a couple of great games against us in the late 90s. -
Which part of Paris are you staying in?

Won't make my mind up until I see some Ryan LCFC bullet points

Best Leicester 11 of your lifetime (in terms of ability)

Keller was maybe the most inconsistent GK I've seen for us. Made some unbelievable saves especially in his first season with us but made a lot of errors too. -
How Do We Make the King Power a Fortress Again?

Surprised he'd make such an unforced error. -

A few missing indefinite articles looks suspiciously Slavic. Guessing it's a Russian bot designed to sow division and discord amongst the foxestalk community. Frightening times. -
Reading back my post it's probably not worded very well, tickets were reduced for over 65s and women, which I liked. But yes it ranges from like 15-100 pounds and often the cheapest tickets are in the best sections for atmosphere.

In my experience prices differ more in Italy than Britain by the sector you sit in, so I don't think 60 quid is that much. I paid like 50 euros last time I watched Palermo and that was in serie b. My girlfriend got a 9 euro reduction

Please don't make me trawl through your posts on this thread to quote generalisations that you have made. Believe me I am that sad.

Adams is overrated by our fans I think. Squad in 2002 was streets ahead of most of the second tier and then the following season was easily good enough to stay up. We under achieved, though obviously he should be cut some slack because of what was going on off the field.

Politics in England is just basically just projection now.

I find now the Euros are more enjoyable than the world cup
