  1. Hossein Kaeibir - Invisible and tasteless lager
  2. "AND IT'S LIVE!!"
  3. I had no idea it was that extreme, shows how much of a joke these Tories are with their "tough on immigration" bollux.
  4. Wayne's Not a Brown Ale. Very pale, only available in Constituencies that have voted UKIP in the past.
  5. Levi's Porter - only served in Schooners.
  6. Completely agree. I've heard very few mentions in the media of how bad it was that we got relegated - rather what seems to get mentioned is that we have PL quality players. That said, I think Enzo has been taken for granted in how easily he has got things gelling and had us winning games when we've played badly. It could easily have been a slow start which inevitably would've ratcheted up the pressure on Enzo and the players. The crazy stat thread and the what do we do next season thread being very active in November is frankly nuts really when you think about it. Plenty of us had a lot of concern before the season and I think if we'd kept Dean Smith or got a championship journeyman the threads above would be completely dead.
  7. I went to Andy's Man Club on Monday night. https://andysmanclub.co.uk/ I'd thought about going before and sacked it off a couple times but I'm very glad I went. I found it incredibly refreshing to be in a group of men of all ages, taking the time out for themselves and each other, to talk and to listen about what one another have/are going through. There's no pressure to talk if you don't know what to say or how to start, but the space is there if you need it. I will be going back and would highly recommend it to any gents struggling.
  8. What negotiations are we conducting? Can't we just agree personal terms or are we trying to get him this window for a nominal fee?
  9. - Spend less time on my phone - Improve my concentration - Plan more stuff with my friends
  10. 2nd and 3rd goals very good. Defending on both theirs is shocking, no matter who is playing or what our record at set pieces is.
  11. Strange comparison. I regularly see cyclists doing things they shouldn't but if you're close enough to a cyclist that your wing mirror touches them then you are driving like a twat and you're putting their life at risk.
  12. Went last November for a day when I was visiting my sister with my parents. Stunning beaches.
  13. I wish they'd paid me a sliver of that for my architectural services! I'm not world class but I do a good job!
  14. Comparing those sets is like comparing apples and oranges as far as stadiums go, they're levels of complexity and sophistication beyond our gaff.
  15. I didn't realise/forgot that was a thing. I can understand a small loyalty bonus, say 5-10 points, but that much is daft.
  16. I'd love to know how Everton spent 54m on their stadium before they got planning.
  17. Is the bar at Birmingham actually low? Didn't they sack the last bloke when they were 7th? And for Rooney of all people. Money talks but they look like a shambles at the minute.
  18. The other thing with Rodgers is the shite that he came out with in the media last season. He was in damage limitation mode last season because he knew he was in trouble. The shocking mismanagement of the team is one thing which is bad enough as it is, but the lack of contrition and accountability, and the antagonism of the club was in some ways for me more frustrating than us being shit.
  19. According to the eye website, tickets were £20 and there were 100,000 tickets. I imagine that's a good chunk of the cost at least.
  20. Very excited by my Ravens this year. Big game against the dolphins tonight but I think we can do them. I don't want to speak too soon but it feels like we may have overcome the early season issue of not closing. Heard a stat early on in the season that we've blown the most 2 score leads in 4th quarters in the last few seasons by far so it does still make me nervous. Also, I don't think we want to face Flacco in the playoffs. January Joe is cool as ice.
  21. I thought with all the hype around Ten Hag that Man U would start to steady the ship and make them more consistent, if not title contenders. Alas he is just the next manager who has so far failed to stop the rot. They are the prime example that highlights how spending with no strategy or plan is an absolute waste. I get the feeling with Ratcliffe there's a good chance there will be more absurd spending but it won't improve anything. They need a Pearson style clean out and reset imo.
  22. Which is historically fair even though we were in the PL for 9 years and won stuff. We would have to spend some serious time in the PL to shake that.
  23. If you go on leaderboard at the top of the page, you can then see the posts/posters with the most reps over different time periods. Most rep'd post this year was this heartfelt one by @fuchsntf, followed by @moore_94's post of the club announcement that Brendan was sacked.
  24. Quite possible we could be starting a teams that can't catch us thread late Jan/early Feb.
  25. Wow. Surprised they got permission for that. Shame really, always thought it was a decent enough spot. Got some good memories in there.
