4 goals - 2 good, 1 great and 1 incredible! Played decent football although I thought Simpson and Morgan were poor. Gray is really frustrating as he just doesn’t have the football intelligence, and doesn’t seem to be developing that side of his game very quickly either. Final word for Iborra though - classy and should keep his place next week. I’m not going to pretend that we wouldn’t have won if James/Silva were in, but I just think him and Ndidi complement eachother so much better than any other combination.

He’s just so easy to mark when he plays on his own. Even though nacho did very little when he came on he still drew the defender’s attention. He needs to be played with a proper striker from now on - playing gray and mahrez ‘in behind’ doesn’t do it as they just drop off.

It’s not good but we’ve never been good without Oki in the team. Under any manager.

Agree with this. Don’t think there is anything wrong with his subs generally...certainly wasn’t tonight. Could argue that his starting line up wasn’t right in the first place but that’s a different question

Not sure this is the case. It’s more likely that he wants a more mobile pair in the middle to avoid us getting overrun - FWIW I don’t think ndidi and James will solve this. As for the line ups changing - it’s refreshing to have a manger that picks a team based on the opponents we’re playing, rather than picking the same 11 regardless.

If supporting Leicester has taught me anything, it’s that we never do what we’re expected to do. Bad runs usually end with us too (see Palace not scoring away from home and then putting 3 past us...)

No, I am Spartacus

What is Musa wearing?

This is bang on though. Amartey doesn’t offer much more than Simpson going forward and is no better defensively so why should we talk about him being an upgrade when he isn’t. He’ll do a job for us but he’s not going to improve the team.

Just because we paid £50m doesn’t make them worth £50m...
-
Oki on for Albrighton. Mahrez needs to stay wide and go at Schlupp. We’re playing so narrow that we’ve got no option to spread the play and it’s making it easy for Palace to hold their shape

Haha Benny with the volley for the win!

In games where we’re winning perhaps. Vardy is so integral to the way we play that we lose all impetus when we take him off. If we were 1-0 down, chasing an equaliser and we took vardy off and replaced him with Iheanacho I’d have very little confidence in us to carve out a chance and get a draw.

Linekar was before my time and his record is amazing, but the fact that we would be unable to talk of "Leicester City, Premier League Winners" without JV means that Vardy > Linekar for me.
-
Exactly - and the thing that i'm really excited about is despite Mahrez (technically) getting the assist and Vardy scoring, it is Gray's involvement that everyone is talking about. Hopefully it shows him that he doesn't need to go for glory himself in order to take the plaudits.

When you take his dodgy English out of the equation (references to 'kill' and 'seduced' being examples of where he misses the mark) he actually has a point. Generally people were rooting for us, media coverage focused on the romantic idea of us sticking it to the big boys. Even when people said we couldn't do it they often said they hoped they wrong.
-
He looks like he plays with the hand break on most of the time. When he's more aggressive in the tackle and drives with the ball he looks twice the player. Just doesn't happen often enough.

Classic - Forest want a rivalry with us in order to be big by association....we're foooookin masssiveeee mattttteeeeee

For anyone that wants to see the MNF segment on us from last night it's now on YouTube - just search 'Monday Night Football Leicester City' and it was one of the top 4 or 5. It's nothing new but it's nice hearing Carra and Neville speaking so glowingly about us. ....Wouldn't it be great if we kept this run going through the next series of 'tough games'

Had to turn that off half way through! I hate it when fans like that make national media because they don't represent the true views of the club at all...to say that Kante is our best ever midfielder after 12 games is not ok (he may well be in time but 12 games is not a long enough time to judge). And as for us making Champions League not being a long shot...
