Haaa

He starts twenty of that season. No. You kidding me?
-
Oh for sure.. Publicly wanted to stay when we were in the premier League and asked to leave when we weren't. Can't square the circle personally.
-
Let's get him in the midfield tomorrow if he's the answer. He isn't.
-
One swallow does not a summer make. Good in a bad team on Wednesday. He is not the answer.

Yeah this is about accurate. People pay ****ing loads to go to the games. They deserve at least the pretence of respect. -

Awful really. Made the trip on a Wednesday at significant cost. Don't expect a win at Old Trafford. However - I don't expect that kind of awful capitulation. It's like the entire team couldn't really be that bothered. At least pretend; at least make out it matters. Oddly enough, the only player who looked up for it was Soumare. And that's really damning. -
Thought he would have been front and center for them. Sad - there's a player there and I think he enjoyed playing for us.
-
How is Dewsbury-Hall getting on? I've not been following Chelsea because I have a massive chip on my shoulder about them but I notice he's not in the squad today.
-
It is almost certainly a 'look, I remember them most.' act. That doesn't make him a bad person, it just makes it a strange action. The act of remembrance shouldn't be a personal venture but a solemn and ongoing commitment.
-
I still can't navigate performative remembrance. The underlying message is that I support the war dead in alliance with my club and the two are very different forms of support. It's such a sticky wicket to navigate with any purpose.
-
Looking the Israelis have began their retaliation in Iran. Who knows how this ends.
-
The point remains. The fact Cooper is playing Soumare is cause enough for reservation.
-
I would absolutely 100% prefer to see Alves coming on over Soumare. One is a home grown talent and the other refused to play for us in the Championship.
-
I stand corrected. He obviously reads here.
-
Bold of you to assume that Cooper pays a blind bit of attention to this particular website.

How did the larb and what not go down. Didn't get a look in with them.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5862855/2024/10/23/bilal-el-khannouss-leicester-city-genk/ The NY times seem to think we've gotten ourselves a gem. I remain unimpressed. Fairly anonymous today.

It's just another step towards a UK Franchise model, albeit a small one. I can't wait to see the King Power Foxes offensively dominate the trees dee-fense tonight at the Leicestershire King Power Bowl tonight.
-
"The bowl" How the club does not remember it's own history. Fans petitioned the club to change that phrasing and here they are bringing it back.
-
There must have been some prolific shaggers from Manchester in the seventies and eighties. Nearly every United fan I meet - "I only support them because my uncle/cousin/grandfather does'. It's the big tell.
-
Protests aren't going to impact Sky and the monied six. They will just use it to drive engagement and make it appear as though fans are having a meaty say. It needs sustain postponement of games and proper disruption to be off the table.
-
I don't agree with this. There was a small bit of protest and the media blew it out of proportion. 'Oh my god the fans have had their day'. One game got called off. It wasn't strong enough. Sky co-opted it as a story in order to diminish it.

Never seen a player play with such a verve before or since

I nearly started a new thread but decided against it. We're going to miss him; it's going to hurt. But until that day - Jamie, Jamie Vardy. Jamie Vardy - oooohh
