  1. OMG the pain in Ayew's eyes.
  2. Gosh he was irritating. I like to think I'm fairly open to new media but that guy was just a tool. Totally tone deaf to the fans around him. Self indulgent.
  3. Stuck Bowie - Starman on. Oh, how much I miss the halcyon days of Youri. As a 35 year old I was skipping to Filbo again to watch my idol. I LOVED watching him play the game. We were so spoilt
  4. Talk Sport doing a section on why we should have a game abroad each season and, surprise surprise, it's an American telling us how we need to do it. But Americanisation of the sport isn't happening. His reasoning was golden - NFL teams tolerate it because it means they get more money and that way the smaller clubs (and he mentioned us as one of them) have a chance of winning the league. That's why the Premier League should do it. The whole league need to **** off American owners post haste. The ONLY benefit of this would be owners and the big six. Talk Sport ought to feel embarrassed for allowing these folks a platform.
  5. Whilst I do enjoy the fact we have gotten away with it the league really are shitting on their own lasagna. Seemingly unable to write and enforce their own daft rules, they're letting themselves open for rafts of complaints, litigation, and argument. The current governance of the Premier League isn't fit for purpose - this kind of chicanery just serves to highlight it - and I worry that the solution might well look like a Super League. A cynic might suggest that the plan.
  6. First relegation six pointer well and truly tucked away.
  7. The pricing is so dynamic they always set a minimum price that is already expensive. Our club will love this if it takes off. £45 a game until the dynamism kicks in.
  8. If Cooper watched that and isn't questioning the wisdom of leaving him on the bench then he's a ****ing a moron.
  9. He's good but not great.
  10. He looks like he's about forty. He isn't moving like a professional player anymore. Incredibly leggy. Doesn't strike the ball well. Off the pace. Sad way to go on out with us, really.
  11. Constantly talking which is to his credit. But the same can be said about my Mrs and she's just ****ing tedious.
  12. Pulled back a goal to give an uncontested drop ball for what?
  13. How many best mates in the world does Madders have!
  14. That's just ****ing word salad, 'multi-year finance partner' What does that even mean?
  15. I don't know why people WOULD bring it up. It's usually seen as a positive isn't it? Arsenal LOVED they'd purchased Spurs' captain. It's getting one over them.
  16. Awaiting FabRom to come and Savage him with some detailed gazumping.
  17. I'm not convinced he's the man for us but the fact he managed Forest doesn't matter at all. Our Premier League winning captain and one of our all time great managers were forest heroes.
  18. Moved from my usual seat opposite the dug out to behind it for today and one takeaway - Cooper seemed pissed off at Stephy multiple times for taking risks. I was pretty deflated at that as it was necessary to move at the defense. I think that does tell us a bit about Cooper's expectations.
  19. Are these that impactful anyways? That Craig Flint has been banned and should still be in prison but is out and about and seen at games recently.
  20. Couple of very good balls into the box and some very nice first touches that moved the ball away and into space. Tonnes of promise. Not sure I agree he's fully ready to play premier League football just yet. But, even that said, I wouldn't object to him getting a run out. Right on the threshold of needing a loan and being about ready.
  21. Has anyone got the video of Vardy watching Wasilewski do a foul and calling it 'borderline assault'?
  22. Get rid of him. He's been incredibly average in the premier League and wasn't our best center back last year. We can't afford any attitudes on board this season if we're not to disgrace ourselves. Everton await you, Wout.
  23. This is the only occasion where I think it might well be true
  24. That lad that turned us down because we had no footballing plan or ambition must be feeling fairly vindicated right about now.
